Got my order today, broke into a can of General onyx shortly after getting to work.

Other than the slick black pouches, it's a standard white portion. Taste it's very reminiscent of the General classic/white tobacco and bergamot with an additional taste of lemon zest. It's a stronger overall amount of flavor as well. Good nic hit as they are strong portions.

Worth it for the extra cost compared to General white? Occasionally I'd say.

Waho, I was a bit disappointed with long term storage of the Onyx. Where Mint seems to be fine regardless of age, I didn't find that with Onyx. It wasn't bad, most white portions freeze well, but it seemed to lose some of its flavor, at least to me.

I got a can of the Onyx as well with my last order. Haven't tried it yet but I'm looking forward to it. Working on a can of the Olde Ving fudge right now, always a good snus in my opinion.

I can't remember if I tried that one or not. I found a few cans of Captain Yankee that I had forgotten about. It's still really fresh.

Merry Christmas Eve! I just took the dogs out and it felt really warm and I only had a short sleeved shirt and lounge pants and it felt warm so I checked the temp when I came in. It was just short of 70. It's never been this warm at Xmas in my lifetime.

That's awesome Roth. Not that warm here but warm enough. I woke an hour early this morning for some reason.

That's better than me. I went to bed late and got up early. Not a good Xmas season. One of my poker buddies is fighting for his life. mid to late 30s. He hadn't played for a few years as he moved a bit out of the area but got word via FB that he was having issues. It all started out with a simple hernia operation when complications developed. He's now been through four operations and they're trying to ween him off a breathing tube, might need a trach., might have brain damage from the sepsis, just an ugly situation.

That's horrible. I'll keep my fingers crossed for him. My brother in law and his girlfriend got a call Tuesday night that her dad had passed so they packed suitcases and will be there handling matters over Xmas.

So many sad situations this year, right around Christmas. This will be a good year to put behind.

You've got that right. I just got home from work. I'm off til Monday. I work Monday and then I'm on vacation the rest of next week. I'm so ready for time off.

It was warm here today too , 65. My favorite fire chief's brother in law passed away as well. It's been a terrible holiday season for things like that. Hey rebel, I like that fudge in the morning with coffee. Merry Christmas to you all.

Merry Christmas FC. I had a strange one tonight. My nephew and his wife gave me and my sister a digitized copy of my father's two reals of 8mm film. It was strange reliving stuff 50/60 years ago and seeing all the people that are no more or very old. A wonderful present. There were even shots of my grandmother that I never realized existed.

Merry Christmas! Well, almost. That's a really cool gift. My father in law has always used slide film and has slides from 50 years ago or so. It's neat to set up the projector and see them.

I hope everyone had a good Xmas. The visit over to the in laws was a fiasco as usual. Her family won't stop gift exchange between adults so every year we put forth a lot of effort trying to get them nice gifts and then go over there and receive some weird crap that a stranger could have picked. I got an assorted box of keurig coffee pods. I don't own a keurig machine. I gave them back to her mom and said thanks but I can't use them. Her mom has one so she can use them. It's not that I want or need anything but the whole thing is ridiculous. I wish they'd just stop buying for the adults.

Yeah, we finally stopped the gift giving. That's what I thought was strange when my nephew texted me earlier when he found out I might not be heading to my sister's.

He said that they had a special gift and hoped I'd make it. I'm glad it was the movies rather than any commercial gift.

We tried for several years to get them to stop and even suggested drawing names but they wouldn't go for it. Christmas time is stressful enough without the hassle of shopping for them. Not to mention having the extra expense when personal property taxes are due by the 31st. My sister and I chipped in on a chair for my dad and I send my niece and nephew $20 each and that's it for my family.

A new member started a thread, 62 and quit smoking with e-cigs She is asking about whether snus would be a cheaper way to go for her. I am mainly a vaper, so do not have a clue about full time costs of using snus. Thought I'd check in here to see if someone could jump in there. I don't even know if she would be allowed over here til she gets her post count up.

It would be good coming from another female. It seems a lot of women think snus is gross. They don't understand that it comes in portions too so you don't have to use loose.

I made a post there also. I don't know if she just wants to save money or needs the extra that snus gives.
