The first thing she needs to do is get away from the Blu and get something she can refill and reuse. That in itself would save a lot. I've made the switch to making my own coils and DIY eliquid. I haven't bought any in months. I can make a 30ml bottle for under $2 and it lasts me at least a few weeks. Of course I'm still using 5-7 portions a day too.

We got rain/snow overnight. This is the only day I'm working this week and it just couldn't wait until tomorrow to get nasty. It was about 30 when I got up this morning. My furnace was going into fault mode late last night. I had to clean the flame sensor. If it lights and the sensor doesn't send back the right signal then it faults and stops. I had to do it last year too. I had called the HVAC place I use and the guy on the phone told me to lightly sand the sensor and it worked so I recognized the problem and had it fixed in a jiffy this time.

Hey FC, you stranger! I guess you've had it pretty nice these last couple months. It looks like that might be changing. I know I've got a good start on my '16/'17 wood supply as my woodshed is still at 100% all my stock is full around my deck and I've got at least two chords that I started for next year already. I could live with this every year but know it's a once every decade and a half occurrence. Of course Bernie blames global warming so I'm probably wrong.

Yep, they don't get much stranger than me. :)

It has been great not having to skate to work, but that will change tonight. We have had an awesome warm spell, but we will pay for it. A lot of our trees and shrubs are budding. When that cold hits those plants will not do well at all. It also gives the ice more to stick to and makes the damage from ice storms worse. Always a trade off.

I made it home fine FC. My jeep does ok in the snow.

Roth, it's a gas furnace. There is this sensor rod with one wire coming out the back. The rod sits in front of one of the burners and sends a signal to the circuit board to let it know that the burner fired. If it doesn't then it turns the gas off. It's a safety sensor but will make the furnace go into fault if it gets corroded and doesn't send the signal.

Happy New Year All! Hanging at home for the night and figure I'll last until the ball drops.

I decided I needed a new day bed in the living room on Tuesday. Went on Wayfair and ordered one that I had looked at a month or so ago. It arrived the morning and I spent a couple hours disassembling the one I had here and putting the new one in. It's definitely a major upgrade, glad I decided to get it. The original came up from Virginia and must have been something that was bought as Walmart. This one is solid. The mattress I was using even feels different, probably because the original had a spring base where this one has a steel bed.

Happy Friday fellow snusers. I regret to inform all of you that after Saturday I will no longer be available. My private island will have no internet, but it will have plenty of beer and fresh snus. I'll fly it in from Sweden direct from the factory. Of course this all depends on if my ticket wins. If not, I'll be back to work and hating everything on Monday. On a lighter note my dryer decided it has had enough of this world and would like to be recycled into a can opener or something similar. And since my wife wasn't keen on my clothesline/ large fan idea, I've now spent more money on a replacement than I did on all of Christmas. I frigging hate appliances. My mom and dad had a set that lasted twenty years, survived three boys, washing rocks, bleach blasting jeans in the eighties. I buy a set when I build my house and they barely last ten years. Craftsmanship has went into the crapper for sure. Oh well, can't take it with you I guess. Enjoy the weekend!

We bought a set about ten years ago and spent around 2k. It was supposed to be the cats meow but instead it was a lemon. We had multiple service calls on it and finally replaced it after 8 years when the repair guy said it was going to be 500 to fix the washer. We went back with a basic set that has a regular agitator and it cleans the clothes better than the fancy set. We only paid 800 for the washer and dryer at factory direct appliance.
