Good job flushing her out. It’s sad how many scammers are out there. I get calls daily on my cell phone and it’s on the no call list. I did call my credit card company after getting calls from the same outfit several times and gave the fraud department the phone numbers. I don’t know if they will do anything with them or not.

No the scammers even use these whirling rotating fake numbers so you can't block them.

Fortunately telling the Microsoft scammers "All of my computers are Apples, do you think there might be something you know, wrong on your end?" never gets old. Never.

I also love when someone I normally would feel vaguely threatened by, like the police drive, can't keep it's ah, facts straight and asks for "Justin." And I say, "There is no Justin in this barren, godforsaken place" and without missing a beat, they say "Well maybe you can help me we don't have enough money to lock all the criminals up... etc." and I just laugh and say "I'm sorry, if you can't manage on my tax dollars alone, I don't quite see why you want me to PAY you to lock me up, because that is essentially what you are saying, and trust me, locking me up is MORE than fair payment at the time, IF it happens. Etc." LOL, well basically, that's a lot better when it's not coming from the home phone.

So I've been weaning myself off strong snus for the last month or so. Just sticking to the General snus that I can buy locally and using up what I had left in the freezer. So it's been a couple of weeks since I used any snus stronger than General. But last night I found a can of Conny Andersson whiskey snus and said "what the heck" I'll give it a shot, it's not that strong. Holy niccups batman! 30 seconds after popping in a portion I was hiccuping like mad. I finally had to take it out and drink some water. Guess my tolerance has lowered some in the last month, might have to let this can go...

No niccups from me, I usually have a moment of intense nausea somewhere during the first hour. It passes quickly and I can't quite figure out if like, it's from just swallowing nic or I am at the pinnacle of like, peak nic absorption, but I don't actually mind the sensation and I'm still here so like, I think it's fine. Etc.

Okay, you can be a bonehead at any age, I'm a perfect example.

I bought a 10x20 canopy from Harbor Freight back in the spring to attempt to cover by wood with something other than a tarp. I didn't expect much from the cover that came with it so my plan was to buy a heavy duty one, support the frame with some wire rope leads to help protect against any wind issues during the winter died down with anchors buried in quikrete.

Spring becomes Summer and Summer approaches fall. I finally put the frame up and got everything anchored down. Pulled out the box the tarp came in, felt awful heavy but proceeded to unpack and pull over the frame. I got it over the top, still brain dead, and I have a lot of tarp left. WTF.

I don't know what I was thinking. Instead of ordering as 20x12 which I figured would come in at around 19.5x11.5 as they normally do, I bought a 20x40. Bonehead move two coming up.

I then decided I'd leave a back on it to keep out some of the weather and cut it down to size. Getting anywhere near tight with the extra weight, but I did the best I could. Rains came and It built up two big ponds in the front of the tarp and one in the back. The good thing was it didn't break. Bonehead move three coming up.

Now I decide to take measurements. The tarp was exactly 20 wide (didn't need to measure the length. obviously. Measured the canopy frame. That came in at around 19.5. Studying the situation I realized the only answer was to take it off, cut off the back and get it to a size that would fit. That's when I realized I originally had enough tarp to make three of them had I not made the original cut. At least I'll get two and some extra smaller ones. LOL

I got rid of those extra width inches by putting a second grommet seven inches into the one side and wrapped that end around the frame making the tarp taunt length wise. I also added a lot of grommets to the cut side so it looks like it's going to work out well.

You work too hard for someone that’s retired Roth.

My left leg had been hurting for a couple weeks and I finally broke down and went to the chiropractor last week. It was better but still not right a couple days later so I went Saturday for a second adjustment. That did the trick. It’s much better today. I’ve had problems with that left side ever since I broke my foot years ago.

I wouldn't have to work so hard if I thought a little better, in this case. I hauled a tree and a half in rounds from my neighbors place this morning and cut up his old six foot satellite dish to add to my metal scrap pile. Cut his lawn for good measure too. He gets around to it every month or so and I didn't feel like walking back and forth thru nearly a foot of wet stuff to get to electric for my reciprocating saw.

LOL, well Tropical Bob and I are no longer FB friends. He's suffering from TDS and was sure Cohen's admission of guilt was going to bury Trump and I posted Mark Levin's statement on the subject and he booted me. Gotta love a highly opinionated individual.

I never venture to that FB place its scary. LOL. One reason I like forums is because they are moderated, it keeps everyone (me included) in check.

I cannot decide if Trump is the most polarizing prez of all time yet, I think he might be, I also think our society is in such a state of outrage these days... I mean, I look around at times and just wonder why on Earth we're not all dead yet. Of course, I bet lots of people thought that, like during Plague times, I think they all thought they were done for.

That's what I do now when someone brings up politics. Russian spying? "Well, at least its not plague times, where every second human was dying, right?"

Mainly because it gets them to stop, also it's kind of comforting. If we all blow each other up, I have a feeling I won't have a ton of time to be stressing about it, etc.

Luckily this thread has never really delved into the political circus too much which is good. I belong to some other forums that finally had to outlaw or make a separate thread because of the never ending battle between members. Everyone has their own opinions on our current leader of the free world, always best to keep them to yourself less you butthurt someone else which seems really easy to do these days. Thin skinned people are the norm, can't make a fart joke these days without someone accusing you of bullying people who suffer from excessive gas.

I've grown tired of FB and it's endless advertising posts that clog up my feed. That and I've had to defriend quite a few people who suddenly decided that working for a ponzi scheme is a great way to make a measly couple of bucks. So they hawk their snake oils all over facebook looking for orders. I don't need a new razor every month, don't need any essential oils, not looking to jump on the latest fad diet, and I don't want to buy a time share. I'd just like to know you're doing okay and that you haven't died. Pretty simple I think...
