How is the licorice NR? I liked the General Onyx but it got so expensive and wasn't available for awhile that I forgot about it.

I'm not a fan when it comes to eating Licorice, but for some reason, I like it in Snus. Black Tarmac is pretty good! Not sure if it's still available?
I have a vacuum sealer and usually keep a large supply of my favs.

Black Onyx is my all time favorite and I'm still using stock from 6 yrs ago!
My understanding is you couldn't get it here for a few years because General hadn't yet changed the labeling to comply with the new US labeling laws.

Is that a straight tobacco taste or does it have other notes?

Sorry for the delay.
I'm lousy at picking out various flavors. To me, it's similar to General White large portions. More nic too!
I find myself picking the Odens over the General regularly. (I have both)

This has been the rainiest summer I can remember. If we get two rain free days in a row it's unusual. The good thing is that the temps are down. The bad is that the humidity is awful.
So close, and yet we haven't had enough rain this summer. Many a lawn is brown up here.

Wow. I put my Oculus on tonight and they had something I hadn't seen before, Venues. They have a variety of things from live MLB baseball to Comedy shows to movies. I figured I's check it out as Sinister, a 2012 movie was showing.

The software out you into a theater so you had a massive screening of the movie plus you could talk to the people in the theater. When they get the optics up to really high quality, things like this will be awesome. In two weeks Apocalypse Now is being shown. That could be bizarre and I haven't seen it in years.

I tried a super cheap pair of VR glasses that you put your phone in and it just didn't interest me very much. Heck, we don't even have a current game system in the house. The newest one is a wii. I thought about getting a playstation 4 so I got out an old game I used to play on my playstation 2 and played it for a while. It was ok but didn't hold my interest like it used to. Back in the day, I used to play a lot of guitar hero.

We used to play the one where you could be a band etc. It was kinda fun.

Everyone got mad at me because I discovered via deduction that you did NOT need to know or even enunciate the words, you were scored based on pitch and rhythm alone. It was pretty useful for some song, I managed to do the one about being a drunk where you show up and park your car in the driveway and like, what am I doing here? Or however it goes, but I didn't use a single consonant.

So yeah, I was their "master vocalist" and like, I sounded as if I had Down's Syndrome, and everyone got pretty heated about it but I was like, "Hey, it's not a cheat code if I figure it out myself and the game allows me to do it."

LOL word to the wise if there are any future "rock band" vocalists out there.

Somehow, since it was a machine it was WAY FUNNER than actually just singing which we used to do in the car on long trips. LOL, my mom finally got "proved" that she couldn't sing in tune something we had all fervently noted to her growing up since my dad's side of the family was like, pretty musical and she tortured us all into music lessons.

Yeah, I enjoyed THAT game but I'm not quite sure what it says about me as an all around compassionate human being, but as far as *I* am concerned, games are where you get to let your inner "witch" out I mean, SOME video games you just run around killing people, this seemed to be more of a family "harmony" situation, so I won at harmony, meaning NO ONE DIED IN REAL LIFE.

    LOL,

    Anna

I think catch used to have a licorice but I don’t remember it being particularly good.

Catch still has a Licorice. I have some. BuySnus sent it to me as a freebie.
It's milder than the Black Tarmac and also seems.....cheaper? (quality wise)

I always thought of catch as a bargain brand but used a fair amount of it when I first started using snus. Of course back then you could get an order shipped for $5 so if you didn't like something then just order something else. No big deal. I have pretty much settled on two snus for my daily use. I do occasionally throw in a couple cans of something different on an order but for the most part it's mint and raspberry.

Yeah, I have an early WII. Bought it on a trip to VA, used it a lot there but it sat around since it came back to PA. I really hadn't played any stand alone games since Intellivision in the early days. Anna, your "band" experience is funny. Flashed me to one of the guys that plays poker on Saturday and gave me an idea.

He puts ear/head phones on and listens to his music and will start "singing" alone. He sounds like a dying whale. I'm going to have my phone set to record and when he starts, I'm going to capture it and play it back for him. Maybe he'll end his vocal performances.

I liked the Catch Eucalyptus a lot. In fact, I may have some left in my freezer. Might need to do some digging.

Just had a blast the last couple days. I did something I normally don't do on Facebook. I got a friend request from someone I didn't know and had no mutual friends. She had liked a number of my posts for a few days so I knew she was at least reading some of my stuff.

She sent me a PM saying hi and I got into a convo with her. She said she'd been working as a nurse with UNICEF in Africa for three years. She sounded interesting so I kept responding when she sent PMs but I kept asking her questions and I started to get suspicious. She had said she was from Austin Tx and had a 6 year old son whose father wouldn't accept that he was the father and got killed soon thereafter.

After two or three days of messaging, the bait was dropped. Her iPhone was old and it needed an upgrade and she needed $50 to get it fixed and if I got an Amazon gift card or an iTunes card she could get it fixed. All I needed to do was scratch the back of the card and send her a picture of it. Now I was sure.

I did a people find and she didn't exist and she made the fatal error of using her FB account to communicate to her friends, sometimes in Yoruba, the major language of Nigeria, one of the places she had said she had worked. Back about 4 or 5 months, she had posted a news report of a bust of a group of gift card scammers in Nigeria and told her friends to be careful. That was the clincher.

She PM'd me tonight and after some small talk she brought up the request. I asked her to send me

Had fun with a FB scammer the last couple days. I got a friend request from someone I didn't know and had no common friends. I usually just delete those but the girl had liked a number of my posts over the last few days so I accepted. Soon after I got a PM asking how I was doing so I got into a convo. She said she was from Austin Tx but had been working in Africa for three years for UNICEF as a nurse. Sounded possible but when she said she had a 6 year old boy whose fatheand couldn't find that she existedr denied he was the father and that he was killed in an accident soon after the boy was born, I started getting suspicious. I asked where her son was now and she said her best friend was taking care of him. For three years? Hmmm

It took two days and she baited the hook. Her iPhone was old and it was going to cost $50 to fix and she wondered if I could help her out. Right! I played along and listened to how I could buy an Amazon or iTune gift card, scratch the back off and send a picture. I said I was pretty busy but after I got done with working on my deck I'd see what I could do.

I checked people searches and nothing, then I went on her timeline. She wasn't real smart. First, she used the same account to talk with her friends. Funny, I checked her friends and she had them blocked so it looked like she had none. However, she did do a lot of posting in the major Nigerian language, Yoruba. Then the real clincher was back in May where she posted a news video of a bust of credit card scammers and she warned her friends to be careful in Yoruba. Love the nets translation capabilities.

She PM'd me tonight, the first time I responded since Wednesday. After some small talk she worked her way around to the money. I said first, send me a picture of how you look tonight. I was going to have her send me a second one with 5 fingers sticking out but didn't get that far. She said her phone got so bad that she couldn't send one.

That's when I let her know she was caught, I sent her "O dabi ẹnipe o n ṣawari fun mi". Translated it means, "Apparently you are scamming me". She was hard to convince so I let her know that I checked and nobody with her name existed in Austin. Still wasn't convinced and told her that I spend 30 years in computer technology and could find anything I wanted.

I a matter of seconds her FB account disappeared. I got a good laugh.
