Okay, today with the full scoop in PA. Cost- $7.26 plus tax for a total of $7.70 and the snus definitely doesn't look like white portions anymore. Here's all three- old, new and just bought in store. Sorry about the lighting but too cold and windy outside.

Even when you do a search of General Mint you can see the difference which really sucks since the White portions don't dry out in the freezer.

All of mine look like the upper left in the picture. I haven't had one even close to the dark ones in the picture. Most of my stock is old, but as soon as I get it, I vacuum seal it and put it in the freezer. I normally have a few extra cans in the order that I use fresh, and they are the same as the old cans in the freezer. My last order of General Mint was June 26, 2024, and I had 3 extra cans that I used right away, they looked like the upper left in the picture, but the other 5 rolls are still in the freezer. I use the oldest first, and I still have another couple of rolls until I get to that order, but I expect them to be the same as when I froze them. Vacuum sealing I have found works great.

Update: Got 2 emails from Snus24 today, finally, they did not ship the order, so they refunded my money, so all good there.

I looked for Americana, & Olde Ving, & Melon snus, at all the sites I could find it listed, out of stock everywhere. I also noticed LOTS of snus is out of stock. Not sure what is going on, but the only thing they seem to all have, and willing to ship to the US, is nicotine pouches. I think Snus Armageddon is upon us. For some reason Sweden is not making the snus like they used to do. There were always some snus out of stock, but there are a LOT out of stock like production has stopped. Not sure what is going on, but it is bad for us. I even used my VPN and told it I was in Sweden, still showed stuff was out of stock.

My Snusroom order has cleared customs in Germany and is on its way again, but no telling how long it will be stuck in US customs. Shipping says Friday now, but I won't hold my breath.

My experiments with the concentrates I have from vaping (which are very old) are not working very well, the flavor is muted, or upsets my stomach if I mix it stronger. I am hoping the fresh flavors I ordered from onestopdiyshop will do better. I hope I get both orders by the weekend, just because I want to experiment. If I like the super dry pouches and the flavors, I will put in a very large order of them, because I think it is only a mater of time (not long) before we won't be able to order any snus from Sweden at all. JMHO

It’s too bad that they didn’t ship but at least you got a refund. I haven’t checked any sites since my last order so wasn’t aware of low stock everywhere. Maybe it’s because a lot of people are stocking up in fear that they won’t be able to get it in the future.

I decided last night to try a different flavor combination on the Kapten strong mint. I have a cookie mix that I like to vape in recipes so thought I’d try it on a portion. The flavor is good but just doesn’t go well with the mint flavor in the snus. It tastes like a buttery cookie with mint flavor. Might be good with non mint portions though.

Well my snusroom order seems to be on vacation in the EU. Started in Sweden on the 24th, then went to Denmark on the 27th, then went to Germany on the 28th, and is now at it's second location in England. Not sure what shipping method is being used, but it is really slower than I have had in the past from Sweden suppliers. I think this week is out of the question as it is not in the US yet, and I know there will be a delay here also with customs.

I also don't think my onestopdiyshop order of flavoring on the 27th will be this week either as it has not even shipped yet.

I'm glad I'm not anywhere close to out of Snus, as my orders are moving really slow, I just hate the wait.

Well my snusroom order finally finished it's vacation overseas and came to the US. It zipped through customs in Louisville, which surprised me, and is already in Florida. All is looking good for a Monday delivery.

Not sure what is going on with the onestopdiyshop order of flavoring, it still shows Unfulfilled. It's been quite a while since I ordered from them, but I don't remember it taking this long for them to ship.

Well I got a tracking number on my flavors. Got an email they were waiting on packing peanuts. They should ship Monday. My Snuson Super Dry Snus is still on track for Monday delivery, so I should be giving them a try by Tuesday. They say to give it 4 days to re-hydrate, but I can't wait that long to try them. Going to start slow, only several pouches at a time, not the whole bag as the directions say.

With the news about Trump doing tariffs starting next week on several countries, I am wondering if that will down the road affect ALL products coming from overseas. Something to think about, and prepare for by ordering now if you can.

The water one is to see what it is like plain, and the VG one is to see what sweetness it adds by itself, the Lotta Latte (coffee) I have used and like on the Olde Ving 99, the Strawberry I am still working on the mix. I'll start trying them tomorrow afternoon to see what they are like taste wise.

Good luck! I hope they work out for you. So are the portions dehydrated? If that works out for you then i might order some. I’ve got tons of flavors. I haven’t experimented any more with mints yet. I am having a hard time finding one that I really like the flavor of. Part of the problem is that the tobacco is so strong flavored in the Kapten. I jumped the gun buying so much.

So are the portions dehydrated?

Bone Dry. Sort of like if you left a pouch setting out for several weeks. Not sure how it will work, but I have 1000 pouches to experiment with. Checking the 4 in the first test, I think it will take longer than one day, but I will still try the first one later today.

I was thinking today about how the tobacco in the Kapten stands out so much and maybe instead of trying to sweeten it and add mint maybe try a chocolate or coffee flavor instead.

Well after one day, the pouches are not swelled up a lot, like only a slim pouch worth of tobacco. Not a real tobacco flavor at all, almost no flavor. I tried the one water and the one with VG (no sweetness). I am trying 2 more with 50/50 VG and Water, but going to give them a few days, also not going to try coffee and strawberry for another couple of days. I am thinking they might need the 4 days to come back to life, like the instructions say. Time will tell.

I was looking again for a site that would ship moose major mint to me and snusme accepted an order. Now to see if it ships. I still have to figure out something to use up all the Kapten that I bought but don’t really see it as a replacement for general.

The directions say:
"Mix approx. 1.5 - 1.8 dl of clean water with flavour and pour the liquid mix directly into the bag. Turn and flip the bag properly to distribute the liquid over all portions evenly and then store it in the fridge for about four days. Flip the bag time to time. If you are not sure how moist you want your portions to be, start with a smaller amount of water, you can always add more afterwards."

On the low end that is 150ml per bag divided by 500 pouches which would be .3ml per pouch or doing the math, 6 drops. I am varying the amount of water on the pouches to figure out exactly what I would need for a whole can. I am going to give the 4 I have going till Friday to see how they fill out. I really think there is not enough tobacco in the pouches. I think I should have ordered the BUSTER - SUPER DRY, same size pouch but more tobacco per pouch, same price and bag weight, but only 400 pouches to the bag, but that may be worth it with the extra tobacco per pouch.

I don't mind slim pouches, so I'm sure I will use these in my rotation, but I would like more tobacco in the pouch if I would have to switch to these full time. I did some searching and Snus Room is the only place to purchase these, so that is not a good thing there is only 1 (one) supplier.

I have managed to go through a whole can of the Kapten mint with the flavor and sweetener added. I’m gradually getting used to it. I need to try the same thing with the Kapten strong mint. I have two rolls of the regular and four rolls of the strong to use up. I still haven’t gotten an order confirmation from snusme yet. I’m going to check my junk folder and if there’s nothing there then I’ll send them an email.
