FC, I had leaking problems with three out of four kf4's that I bought. I took them completely apart, changed all the orings, and still had to order an oversized oring before I got them to stop. I wonder if you've got an issue with the center pin making contact inside? Does it do the same thing on different mods?
All my mods and my tester. The B&M guy had a hard time with it. He mentioned it taking him a few builds to get it to stay at 1.2. I have had the whole thing apart, but I couldnt locate the source of the isse. I have spare rings for it, but I couldnt see where any needed replacing. It was never running long enough to know if it had leaking issues. [emoji19]

How's the weather down there, roth? Weather folks are saying we might get a repeat on last week's storm Wed/Thurs this week. I hope not. That was not a good day, full of power outages, flaming transformers, and car wrecks, with a bit of flooded homes and trees in the roads for good measure.

That was one interesting dream Roth. Most likely snus induced.

Thanks for the posts from TV. I sure miss him. Like OTD, I just wish I knew for sure that he was alright.

FC, I'd be willing to take a look at that kf4 if you wanted me to. They are a good mouth to lung tank when they are working and it's nice to be able to top fill and access the deck without emptying the tank like you have to with the kfl+.

Man, we had some crazy wind on Friday and Saturday. I thought I was going to lose some trees in the backyard but they held firm. Lots of debris though. Spent quite a lot of time later Saturday and Sunday picking up the loose sticks and branches. We saw 50 degrees which is rare for February in Michigan. Most of the snow melted and I got an early start on cleaning up the dog leavings. One of my favorite jobs said no one ever. Two buckets fulls later I believe I found all of it. Of course as soon as she sees me picking it up she has to leave me a fresh one just for the hell of it. I should have got a fish...

Using the Ehpro clone of the Kayfun Lite Hitt. I've had this one almost three years now. A little leaking through the air adjustment screw, but that's about it. My favorite RDA by far.

We're looking good so far FC. In fact, I've only got a few small piles of snow left that haven't melted. Currently they feel it's going to be too warm for a repeat and we'll just get rain.

Yeah Hitt, I agree. OTD has been on with a last post in August. TW is really a worry though. Was it you that had his name or did I get it from someone else? I might be up to re-investigating again. I know I had both his and his father's phone numbers at one time.

I don't mind the doggie dodo problem much anymore with taking the big one out on a leash. He does his business in the woods along my drive and the weather deals with it. Now the little ones are a bit different. They go unleashed and have decided the drive is the best location to unload. They need immediate attention. Your description of the bucket reminds me of life before leash, every spring.

With the two little ones it's become quite the adventure, particularly lately. The worst thing is having to go to the bathroom at night. They used to stay asleep but for the last month, if you go to the bathroom, they come in to "visit" and afterward they feel it's their turn. No problem just opening the door and letting them out, they don't wander. However, if the door opens, Jack also wants out. Three or four in the morning is not a fun time to go out and then it's hard to get back to sleep after a brisk doggie walk. I've tried to make sure to empty out before falling asleep but it just doesn't work out some days.

Heck Hitt, you're probably getting ready for the first mowing of the year. That'll be a another month or so for us.

Quite a bit of excitement over the weekend just down south from me. Uber driver came unhinged and shot up Kalamazoo. More ammo for the gun control legislators. Pretty sad but it seems to becoming more common these days. I think I read that it was the 42nd mass shooting this year already in the US? Hard to believe. I try extra hard not to piss anyone off these days, never know if they are carrying or not. Especially when I'm driving. The roads are full of people who are not in the greatest of moods and I've had my fair share of close calls. Just last week I passed someone in an older Suburban who was tooling along at 40mph on a back road. I guess he didn't like it and proceeded to tailgate me with his brights on at 65mph for the next 5 miles. Maybe I didn't use my signal? I finally took a turn to shake him and he shot me the bird and kept going. I'm glad I'm so easy going...

Funny you mentioned mowing. For some reason my neighbor behind me was mowing yesterday. My yard will stay dormant for at least a few more weeks. Mine and my neighbor's next door seems to be the last ones to green up but when everyone else's is burned up from the heat then ours are still very green. Of course us both having sprinkler systems doesn't hurt.

I was running a little low on general mint and didn't feel like going all the way over to my usual place to buy it yesterday so I was going to stop on the way home and pay the regular 3.99 for a couple cans. I was surprised when I walked in and they had a sticker on the fridge for 2.49. They only had four cans left but I took all four and since it's a chain store I'm going to try stopping by some more to stock up.

The only thing I snagged yesterday was a back ache from shoveling. Another ten inches of snow dropped on us yesterday. Luckily my wife had the day off and I could use her Suburban to get to work. It was still brutal even with four wheel drive. I'll be glad to see this winter in my rear view mirror.

We got the same amount over by Flint. I was already a bit under the weather and decided to call in. Fired up the snow blower this morning and took care of it.

My front yard prominently features what was a nice white pine that succumbed to the winter we had a few years back. The previous snow had a few twigs fall down, this time a large branch from near the top gave way and cleared that entire side of the tree of branches on the way down. Good thing I got a chainsaw for Christmas...

I refuse to like anything about your post Hitt except for the last sentence. 60s and 70s.:glare: I was running around town last night in 15 degree weather trying to find a belt for my snowblower. Apparently there is this thing called "maintenance" that is supposed to be done to these things annually. I guess one of them is checking the belt, which I have failed to do since buying it (10 years now). So, no one to blame but myself on this one. I got lucky and found one at a local auto parts store and was able to complete the job my son started before the belt disintegrated. Finally got back into the house around 8pm, long day for sure. But I see we have some milder weather coming next week so hopefully this is the end of our winter. Never know in Michigan...

That stinks rebel. I had to replace the belt on my old snowthrower. I've only used the new one two or three times in over two years. Just buy a new one and it won't snow for a couple years. I wish now that I hadn't filled mine up at the beginning of winter to make sure it would run. Now I'm going to have to drain all the gas back out and winterize it after not even using it once this winter. My shovel was getting in bad shape so I stopped and bought a new one a month or so ago and it hasn't snowed since. I need to figure out what I'm going to buy next year to keep it from snowing.

I need to figure out what I'm going to buy next year to keep it from snowing.

I'd try a couple bags of salt first. Then if that doesn't work, one of them walk behind salt throwers that resemble grass seeders/wheel barrels.

If all else fails, get a plow truck and snow blade. Then it'll probably never snow again.
