Funny, I keep this page, as well as over a dozen others I use daily, open at all times. For some reason, this morning I opened the tab and it said the thread was closed. I looked at it and found the original was opened instate of part 2. I also realized that I was the last post prior to its closing, May of 2012.

The first post was mid Dec, 2009 and it was closed early May of 2012, not quite 2 1/2 years and just over 14k posts. We're now over 8 years later and still a few thousand less posts. We were certainly active back then. Of course there were a lot more active posters also people like Twisted Victor could machine gun out the comments, miss him.

*I* am glad you guys are here, you helped me SO much with information and I would not have been able to work successfully without snus. I have not forgotten the samples, the education and those of you sweet enough to send me things to try.

I am glad you guys are here, and for the new user who discovers snus, it's like a revelation. There is NO way on earth I could have gone 12 hours without vaping or smoking unless I had snus. I actually like it that way and also, I can't vape enough PG to stealth vape successfully.

You may be smaller in number, but you guys are awesome. Thank you again!

Yeah Hitt, they just sort of vaporized from the dark side vape world completely. I often wonder what happened to Axel. There seemed to be some trouble there, kind of like Twisted.

I thought there would be more finding there way here also as more found something missing in vape products as some of us had. Of course the world was very different "back in the day". I'm so old school at this point that I don't even look at what's new and improved in the way of liquids or hardware. Maybe the innovations have made vaping equivalent enough for most people or they just go back to smoking.

I think that it’s just not talked about but some do use snus or other alternatives. There’s constantly tons of new hardware coming out and I’ve tried quite a bit by doing reviews but nothing takes the place of snus for me. I just got three more kits for review the past couple days. I like doing them so it’s fun for me and I’ve got enough hardware to last the rest of my life between reviews and what I’ve bought.

I talk about snus to the folks who are having trouble quitting completely and are anxious or depressed about it. I explain how it works, why it works, why it is cheaper than WTA and now there is no good WTA anyway and for the most part I think that newcomer is like, "Okay crazy lady." It's kind of too bad, I even get them the snus locater etc.

The alkaloids keep me going at work, man, even that last part of my job where I was SO miserable. I do think maybe a few more folks use it from time to time. Since I cannot stealth vape, I am pretty hard core with it though. I wish more folks would try it.

I was highly motivated, from the vile mint American General that caused me to dribble out one side of my mouth (yeah, that was fun thank you dentures and thank you hand mirrors) to the now SUPER easy going all white G4. I love that stuff, I can shove it in my mouth and forget it, it uses real nic so I get the alkaloids and it is pretty potent.

IDK maybe more folks stealth vape. I can't though. Or it's considered low rent. in the immortal words of my son, "Mom, snus! That's what the homeless use!" LOL I told him the homeless were smart and frugal and he should be proud of me.

I generally only snus at work or whenever I know I'm going to land somewhere where I can't vape for an extended time period. I have an aspire breeze 2 pod mod that I would carry and stealth hit on occasion between breaks at work, but since we're forced to wear masks for our entire shift it's become a giant hassle. I get enough moisture built up in the mask without adding some vapor into the equation.

Can't you go vape on breaks?

Contractually, we get two 20 minute breaks and a half hour lunch. But our local agreement has us skipping one and breaking the other into two bits to deal with shift overlap and unpaid lunches. It ends up with GM getting more production time and we get to leave "30 minutes early." Essentially I get paid for my drive home.

I guess that's a reasonable trade. I'd give my left arm to work four days a week. I work nine hour days with a 30 minute lunch break but with a small company, time is flexible so if you take a little longer for lunch then no one really cares.

Anna you hit the deal, "anxious or depressed". Those who can't give up cigarettes with vaping due to those two things would be the ones that snus will work for. They're the psychological issues that snus hits that only cigarettes seemed to address, those wonderful alkaloids.

GM is always looking to axe a shift and go to 4 days/10 hours. Every plant that takes the 3 day weekend every week bait ends up not reading the fine print of Fridays being "optional production days" and still being eligible for "schedule A" 2 on/1 off Saturdays all the while maintaining the contractual ability to force 1 hour of overtime.

Every plant that accepts it ends up working 6 days/11 hours (11.5 hours in plant since there's no shift overlap to contend with) fairly quickly. Every time it starts getting discussed in Flint I'm up in arms and hurriedly finding coworkers originally from Lansing Delta to lock arms with.

@hittman I think a few pages back you were looking for a sale on General Mint, I noticed snuscentral.com has it on sale with 2 extra cans, if you are interested.

I didn't see it at first but once I added it to my cart then it showed the free cans. I will probably go ahead and order since I haven't seen any deals on mint in a long time.

Don't know why i keep looking at what is on sale, I need nothing. I still have over 4 rolls of general mint, plus all the others I have. Really would not need to order anything until the end of the year, or there about, but I can't stop looking anyway.

Now if they was to come back with Thunder Raspberry I would jump on it. Down to 15 cans, and I have rationing myself to only using 1 pouch a day, I am stretching it for as long as I can.
