I did a 10% mix with the candy cane, pg, vg, and filtered water. I did a quick test on one portion with two drops from a 10ml bottle on each side and worked it in with my fingers. I really don’t have a small bottle to mist the portions yet. I’ve got that one in right now and it definitely increased the peppermint but didn’t add much sweetness so I added 1% super sweet to my bottle and did a second portion with three drops on each side and worked it into the portion. I’m going to let it sit a while then try it. I think I’m heading in the right direction. I might take a look at my flavor list and see if I have any sweet mints to try.

Try 1ml flavor, 1ml VG, 1 ml water, mix well. Add 1 drop to center of a pouch and just let it set over night. I use more flavor to keep the pouch from getting too wet. You have to add more flavor than a vape mix, I don't think 10% flavor was enough. Just a thought.

I think you’re right. I did a second trial with purilum butter mint which tastes good straight but could barely taste it with the dilution.

I tested a couple more portions with the stronger mix that you suggested @Burnie. That was better with one drop but am going to try with 2-3 drops. I let it set for 7-8 hours. This is also a good reason to use the 30ml bottle of candy cane flavor that’s been sitting unused. The Kapten are white portions so a little more moisture wouldn’t hurt.

I hate Louisville, seems like anytime my package goes there, it is delayed. My first order ever (years ago) was stuck there a couple of weeks.

I checked my tracking again and it was released from customs. It says it might be delivered tomorrow but I’m not going to hold my breath. UPS is still milking the weather thing. Parts packages for work are taking seven days when they should arrive in two.

There was something similar years ago that someone on the original thread tried. I think he liked them well enough.

Yea, with all the shipping problems I was just looking for alternatives and hoping someone would chime in who has tried something like these unflavored Snus pouches. There are plenty of flavorings out there people use for Vaping, I would just have to figure out which ones to use to come close to the flavors I like.

Did read this morning that Jakobsson's Snus is discontinued, and most sites I looked at were out of stock on all of it. So of my regular 3 daily snus, General Mint is gone shipping to US and you can only get it at a store, which there are none anywhere close to me, Jakobsson's Melon Slim is discontinued, and Nick & Johnny Americana, the sites that have it won't ship to the US and sites that do ship to US don't carry it or are out of stock. So I just need to figure out something while I still have plenty of inventory in stock.

The one you are talking about is SnusX, which came in buckets, and has been discontinued. The posts I read about it, they liked it, just not sure if this is the same thing.

I’m pretty much in the same boat. I lost General and jakobsson mint which were about the only thing I’ve been using besides some nic pouches in between. I got my snusport order today but haven’t tried anything yet. I got four rolls of Kapten strong mint, two rolls of xr catch slim mint, and some nic pouches. I’m sure the Kapten is going to be about the same as the regular I’ve been trying. Hopefully my flavor experiments go well.

I tried one of the XR catch slim mint white portions after dinner and it had a more pronounced mint flavor than the Kapten and a milder tobacco taste. It’s not sweet like general but really not bad on first impressions.

Well I decided to order a couple of bags of the FAT BOY - SUPER DRY, 8mg per portion. 2 bags, 1000 portions total, 50 cans, only $85.90 with shipping, or $1.72 per can. Going to try as is just to see what the taste is to start with, then see if I can get some flavoring to get it to taste like the snus that I like. I still have plenty in stock, but need to start working on replacements before I run out.

It's just what flavorings I need to get for what I am wanting.

I emptied 3/4 of a can of Kapten and put two drops of the candy cane mix on each portion and put them back in the can last night. I tried one at work and it was just ok. The Kapten just has a darker/stronger tobacco flavor and doesn’t taste like the general. I have two rolls of the regular and four rolls of the strong so I’m going to have to either figure something out or get used to the flavor. On a different note, I got two cans of the 77 salted caramel to try with my latest order and it’s pretty good.

I am interested what the super dry pouches have on the tobacco taste. I am going to try one plain to see what I am working with before I add any flavors. I have some old melon, strawberry, and raspberry (that I used for vaping), but would have to order mint as I never used a mint vape, so no idea what to order. The super dry pouches have not shipped yet, their website says they only ship once a week to the US with UPS, so I expect it is on Monday that they ship, but I'm not in a hurry, it will get here when it gets here, just looking to the future.

I realized last night when I went to put the six new rolls in my mini freezer that I didn’t have enough room. I keep my nic for vaping in that same freezer. I still have a pretty good stock of general and jakobsson in there but also have most of a roll of lundgrens that I ordered and didn’t care for. Maybe I should pull some out to try and see if I can add some flavor. I keep hoping these other sites will start shipping again so I can try the moose mint.

I’ve used a few more of the Kapten portions with the candy cane flavor and they aren’t bad but not what I’m shooting for. I might try adding some sweetener. I haven’t tried any of the Kapten strong yet but will this weekend. I’m sure it’s about the same flavor as the regular. Having to attempt changing brands is frustrating.

My FAT BOY - SUPER DRY portions shipped today, now to see how long they take going through customs. UPS site shows them getting here Thursday 30th. Don't know if they are using a different UPS shipping method than last orders I have gotten from Sweden, but I used to get orders in like 3 days. No hurry, I have plenty in stock in the freezer, just going to be doing a lot of testing with them.

Still not sure what is going on with my Snus24 order. It was marked shipped on their website on the 17th, but no tracking, and I have sent 3 messages requesting a tracking number with no response. Once I get my CC bill, if there is no tracking number and I haven't gotten the order, I'll do a charge back to get my money refunded.
