I'm glad you got it off you're chest Hitt. I hope things change for the better. I had a couple co-workers going at each other a couple months ago, with me in the middle. One of them was acting childish, and I told him so. He didn't like hearing it, but things got better between them afterwards. Letting things like that stew can in a lot of cases make things worse.

Good Luck Axl! and Titus since he's the guy that has to get it.

As I tell her when she complains and wishes she'd die, "Mom, just remember, today's the best day of the rest of your life!"

It always seems to make her laugh. I just hope she gets the long sleep before she can't stay independent, it's what she wants. I really think her dog just keeps her waking up each day.

    Wow this place is dead.

Just in case I didn't have enough problems, one of the lines in the valve box in my back yard for the sprinkler system leaks when the zones for that area turn on. I called the people that installed it and they are coming out the beginning of the week to fix it.

LOL, you boys and your lawns!

The trial was ok. Our track could have been better, but he made it, since he doesn't give up...ever. We got high obedience and he was kinda naughty in protection. I was happy though cuz he did well with the stuff I had been working on, and now I just have different stuff I need to work on. By the time he is 12 or so, we should have it together.

Axl, good to hear Titus did okay, but what do you mean he was naughty? Is that like Jackson who considers protection trying to lick outsiders into submission?

I'm on a wicked three day schedule. There were 2 poker games today, a final tomorrow and one Monday night, all that I run and play in. A lot of running around and attempting to keep my concentration up to compete. It's getting a bit long in the tooth. I just bought 36 decks of plastic cards on Ebay for less than $1 a deck and I'm interested to see how they'll hold up. Need to get some sleep. Today was over eight hours of tournament and another two entering results and I'm beat.

Good morning. Roth it sounds like you have your hands full. Isn't there anyone that could help run things so you could focus on playing?

Axl, so did titus do pretty good or just ok? I don't know anything about trials so wasn't sure by what you said.

Just ok. He got high in trial for obedience. In protection he kept biting the sleeve when he was supposed to be guarding. He likes to surprise me in trials with new behaviors. He did really well on the stuff we've been working on though, just gave me new stuff to work on. out of a possible hundred points in each he got 85 in tracking, which was very generous on the judge's part, 93 in obedience, and 80 in protection, which everyone thought was way harsh on the judges part. I thought it was fair, I saw what he did.

Those scores sounded pretty good to me. At least if it was a report card, I'd be happy with it.

Glad the A/C was working. We've had a week of hot/humid weather. I'm thinking that anywhere you could live that was like 78 degrees all year round would be outstanding although the extremes, either high or low, bother me most as I get older.

Got through today's tournament and finished 2nd, again, to a fellow from Sudan. He's won 4 of the quarterly tournaments tournaments while I still haven't one once. That was the second time he beat me. That didn't make me real happy but I still made money so who's to complain. Hitt, getting someone else to help is kind of like Skry's problem. There is one guy that would be dependable but he has a young son that lives with his ex at the Jersey Shore and there's no consistency when he's available.

Good evening everyone. Roth that's too bad there isn't anyone to depend on.

I took the youngest daughter shopping for new shoes while the wife took the oldest grocery shopping. Running shoes can be pretty expensive. I might wait a week to take the oldest. The wife and kids are meeting some friends and going to the local theater in the park. I might actually get in some relaxation time before going back to work tomorrow.

Also, when I approached the judge in my protection routine he said, "you need to kick your dog". I said, "now??" (cuz you can actually be banned from competing for a year by doing stuff like that). He said, "no, in training". whatever. Titus doesn't owe me a dang thing!

I would have started kicking his ....... you know... just to make sure you're technique is right.... he is a judge after all.... seems only fitting.......

I don't have much patience for people who abuse animals.....

Roth my parents were notorious for buying us cheap shoes and they never lasted more than a few months. I didn't get my first pair of good sneakers until I bought them myself. My oldest daughter hasn't changed shoe sizes in a year but the younger one is growing like a weed. I have a feeling she'll outgrow the two new pairs she got yesterday in no time. That's ok though. We take stuff to donate to the disabled veterans store if it's in good shape.
