Good morning. My wife said that rogue had one of her over excited episodes after I went to bed last night for over an hour and a half. It's hard to calm her down when she gets like that. I'm honestly glad I missed that one. I was extra tired last night so turned in early.

VapApe, yeah the cats would love that. They tolerate Pixie, but barely.

Have you been walking her much Hitt? Pixie gets hyper and barks a lot if we don't walk her enough. Fortunately once we leave the parking lot she won't bark at much of anything. Outside the apartment is a different story. She barks to get people's attention to come pet her. I had to teach one neighbor to approach her calmly so she doesn't bark.

Just waking up for work with:

Good morning. We're still working on the nipping. We've been giving her time outs in the bathroom when she gets out of hand and it seems to be working. We leave her in there for a minute or two and then let her out. It seems to calm her down.

Hitt, that bell thing is amazing!! I can't believe you have her doing that already. I've never been able to accomplish that one with any of my dogs! How did you get her to do it?
Will Rogue chase a ball if you throw it, and bring it back (could use two balls and rotate if she's reluntant to 'out' it)? That's how we burn up the shepherds' excess energy.

I'm sort of back to the land of the living. My whole family has the cold from he!!. I actually took mon and tues off work and slept all day. I'm functioning today at least, but I wish the crap in my chest would break up and cough out. I'm already taking mucinex, anyone have a better suggestion?

Yes Axl. I'd suggest not catching them. :p I hate colds and avoid them at all costs. I have to say, quitting smoking helped with shortening them. I always found Alk. Plus seemed to dry me out fastest and the flavored type isn't half bad. Wishing you the best.

Yup Hitt, you have a really smart dog, it's a blessing and a curse.

My sister got tired of running mom's cloths back and forth to her house for mom so she emailed me about picking up a dryer cheap. Mom's died about six months ago. I got lucky on Craigslist yesterday. Everything was $200-$500 that I thought was ungodly expensive considering the situation. I found one relatively close for $200 that I emailed about and went back to close up CL, but I hit reload, just in case.

Up popped a 5 year old Amana for $75. I quickly emaild about it and started to re-email the original person and my phone rang. The gal said she was calling about the dryer and I was happy to find it was about the cheaper one. Her answers to my questions convinced me to buy it sight unseen. Picked it up last night and installed it today. She was asking $200 for it, the $150 and just missed selling it when the people found one closer. She got fed up and just put a price on that she knew someone would take.

My only issue was getting it down mom's seller steps by myself. I had it strapped to a hand truck, but her steps are narrow and steep. Definitely a workout. To be 40 again. Wait, that would mean I'd still be working. Never mind.......

Axl, we put a bell on a nail by the door and every time we took her out we hit the bell with her paw. About the third day she started doing it by herself. She will Chase a ball if I throw it but hasn't gotten the hang of bringing it back. For now she wants to keep playing with it.

Good lord, am I ever going to feel like myself again?? I feel alot better, but just so tired. At least the crap in my chest is breaking up and coughing out. I seriously need to start running again. I'm getting kinda chubby. Hitt, you in for being workout buddies again? I'll try not to drop the ball this time...

I'll sure give it a try axl. I haven't been doing the best either. I'm lucky to get in one or two a week and my run has dropped to about half of what I was doing before. I think the over 40 thing is catching up to me. I hope you feel better soon.

Boy, you people have me inspired! I went out today and bought me a new pair of running excuses myself. They should keep me good for at least another season. Besides, after moving that dryer into my mom's basement, I went to the local tavern for lunch. My phoine needed a charge so I sat near the electric outlet. After a half hour I started getting concerned about the cold air from the AC hitting my neck and back so I moved.

Too late, my right shoulder and neck are still bothering me. Stupid me.
