Yeah, we have a grocery budget that always goes way over. I've pretty much given up on budgets.

I ate way too much today and am paying for it now. Everything was really good. We went to my Inlaws house. I'm thankful that we didn't host this year.

LOL at you Axl, you gave me a chuckle with that one. Now that the goose is away......the gander spends the pay!

Hitt, I'm right there with you on the eating. By the time I was done, I was ready for that afternoon nap. Now I'll have to check ESPN to see who won the games since my afternoon nap became a evening nap also.

Went to my hs T-day game. They won and finished undefeated in the league for the first time since I was in hs. That was only 48 years. I think their run mau be over in states though. The star running back sat out due to an unspecified injury, but rumors are concussion. The team they're playing changed their game to Wed. night and played their JV team losing 49-0. Fresh, rested team vs a team that played all their starters two days earlier who might be missing their star. It will be an interesting test.

Back to mom's for maybe the second last cleanup tomorrow.

We had great weather today. I got out and did what I hope is a final mowing for the season. Starting tomorrow its going to be a lot cooler. I won't mind so much being at work. I thought gutter might show up today. Maybe tomorrow.

Hi Stubby. I can't believe how fast the holidays came this year. I hate to sound like an old dart but the older I get the more Xmas just seems like an excuse to blow a bunch of money. The wife and I have started shopping for the kids already. I think its ridiculous that my inlaws still won't do a gift exchange rather than shopping for everyone. We have suggested drawing names but they never will agree. Last time I checked we were adults.

My family was the same, hitt. 13 people to buy for and several gifts each. It was rediculous. All the older folks have passed away and we dont even spend Christmas in the same towns anymore. Kind of a relief, really. Christmas is no longer about huge debt and family strife over whos kids got more stuff.

Heading to training with the pup in a few. She is outside tearing around the yard on her first snowfall. I do believe she likes it. Must be she doesn't know Boxers don't like the cold.

I am truly sick of it. We just end up buying gifts just to appease others. I let my wife do the shopping for her family. I buy for my father and my niece and nephew. I like shopping for the kids. To me, Xmas is for the kids. Adults shouldn't feel like they have to get a bunch of useless junk to make them happy.

I've watched it three different times and it made me laugh each time. Luckily, it looked like he survived fairly well considering. It could have ended much worse. Consider that the ice was thick enough not to break with his weight and he was jumping in at an angle. What if that same weight had broken through and he ended up a number of feet from the hole in freezing cold water. The results could have been disastrous.

Well, we're getting our first snowfall on the season, Hopefully I won't have to pull the blower out, they said 1-3, but it's coming down pretty good right now.

Obama's first post election trip on Thursday will land him within two miles of where I run poker on Saturday-

Just in case anyone wants to see the president and play some poker on a long weekend in PA. He's selling Tinkertoy, K'NEX Building Sets and Angry Birds Building Sets as the road to getting off the cliff. That Angry Birds Building Set might be a symbol of the American mindset if his plans don't work out over the next 4 years.

Not a good day today. I took my mom's dog to the vet and had them put her to sleep. She was fine on Monday, but my mom said she wasn't right Wednesday and she did seem a bit off and she stayed out a long time trying to do her business. She also was having trouble coming up the steps. By this morning, I could tell she was in distress. The cancer that she'd been living with well over a year finally got to her lymph nodes. With her bad heart, she would have probably died from any treatment so there weren't really any good options. At least she only had to suffer a couple days. I don't know how mom's going to be. This is going to be tough.

I haven't seen gutter for a couple days and come to think of it, Skrymr hasn't been around for a lot longer. It would be nice to hear from them. While we're at it, TV is long overdue for stopping in to see us.

sorry man - just been super busy.Between thanksgiving, the mrs. birthday and work, it's been crazy around here.

Has anyone heard from TV lately?
