My question isn't so much about if you inhaled into your lungs, it's how you took drags off cigarettes. Did you only inhale using your mouth/lips to take a drag or did you use more of your chest to take drags like you do with ecigs?
Unfortunately for me I fell off the wagon. Started smoking again. But I intend on trying to quit cigarettes in the worst way. I may have to up my nicotine. How I smoke cigarettes as I put my lips on the cigarette and inhale the smoke into my mouth and then I inhale into my lungs. Unlike vaping where you directly inhale into the lung.

Did you try vaping mtl instead of dtl? If so, what mtl device did you try and what nic level?

i did like most mtl but strong nicotine.if you smoked low nic ` you could DL

As I dropped nicotine levels in cigarettes many years ago I went from Red Marlboros, to Merits and Merit lights, to Merit Ultralights, and on to Carltons. My pack a day habit turned into 3 PAD. Vaping saved me from that, too! It's all about nicotine satisfaction. At 3mg vaping I go through 10ml a day and don't worry about tar and nicotine levels.

I didn't look to see what your vaping nicotine level was. If you are vaping too much or going back to smoking, try some 24mg nicotine in the juice. That allowed me to put down the cigs and never smoke again. Some go even higher in nic to quit smoking. You can always taper down later once you've lost the urge to smoke. I vaped 24mg for over a year before dropping nic levels.

A sigelei sobra. At 18 mg in a baby Beast tank. I
You ever try something more like a cig draw? A baby beast is not really a mtl vape imo, but more a restricted or dtl vape......If you were indeed vaping this tank mtl, it would of been pretty airy and perhaps not getting much out of it, now if you were doing dtl pulls with 18mg then you should of been getting enough nic. But vaping a true mtl tank with 18 or 24 would be totally different and just wondering if you tried anything like that?

I agree with @vapdivrr for what it's worth. MTL and DTL setups are so different. Even at a low wattage and whatnot it's just a completely different experience. While it is true there is some crossover gear, really, it's still not the same.

You can just get a MTL tank and vape it on your current mod and turn it way down. There are several that are good, and not supremely expensive. The Innoken zenith is kind of THE MTL tank of 2018. I have an N2S and I like it a lot also (except when I have to change a coil.) I have the 0.7 mesh coils in there right now, and I think they are the best MTL mesh coils out there (although I only know of the zenith and the Nautilus.) But even with that coil, I'm vaping at 10--12 watts and MTL (a bit airy.) It just tastes great, it doesn't have to be grand plumes although I guess it can be.

Give it a shot, see what you think.

Perhaps try one of the tanks Anna mentioned (post just above yours) along with some higher nic and you may be surprised. It can take a bit to find the right setup that works for you where you get that "aha" moment. I didn't find the "right for me" setup with one go. I went through several tanks to find what worked for me. When one didn't work I asked questions, researched, found and tried another until I was happy.

A good MTL tank many here really like is the Aspire Nautilus 2. Maybe check it out.

Good luck and cheers! ;)

Well buy something vape related and really high nic, you will feel guilty for the "expense" I'm guessing, and GUILT played a LARGE role in my quit. I was like, "I can't do this to my family and my kid."

You know, I never thought smoking was harming my kid, I didn't in the house, but for some reason the car was IMPOSSIBLE. He didn't tell me until AFTER I quit that teachers and stuff would ask him if he was a smoker. I felt so crappy. I really did.

Oh well he got 18 months smoke free out of me pregnant and nursing, which I did not think was possible.

But, I encourage you to think of all the smoking related illnesses and not ONLY what it would do to you, but to your family.

I really, genuinely worry that my husband will get cancer and die, he's been smoking since he's 8 and now he's 55.

I mean I don't guilt trip him, I try not to. It only works if you guilt trip YORSELF. I would like, Imagine me and an oxygen tank heaving behind my healthy family to like GO to say, a restaurant. That type of stuff.

OMG THANK GOD I did not have laryngeal cancer! I had never seen someone with one of those "mechanical voice boxes" and I was always like, "Pfff" in the commercials.

In real life in Walmart it was COMPLETLY horrifying. I mighta become a deaf mute.

GUILT trip yo self. I don't say this enough to fallers of the wagon I try to be encouraging. But, that didn't work for me. THINK about what you are doing, when you KNOW you are capable of SO MUCH more Trust me when I say I know how hard it was.

3 PPD.

DO IT.

Just thought if you haven't been totally successful with giving up the smokes, then perhaps something a little different might do the trick....
