I vape at home.

I vape in the car.

I vape on walks.

I vape at work (on my breaks and where we are permitted to)

I don't vape in stores, restaurants, hospitals or the movies or where asked not to vape. I don't vape in other peoples homes or cars unless given permission first. And even then I vape discreetly.

I will vape in public areas such as parks, but will refrain from vaping near children's playgrounds out of respect for parents (oddly enough most of the parents at the playground keep telling me its ok because I am not smoking, but I still will not and will instead take vape-break turns with the other smoker parents and sneak off for a few toots).

I thought it was pretty clear in my response that not vaping where you can not smoke is a losing proposition.
It's morally wrong to make such a blanket prohibition, and a hindrance to this life-saving technology.

As for where I vape? I vape everywhere...
--I have vaped on every single one of the 20 or so plane flights I have taken in the last four years plus
--I have vaped in every single one of the 30 plus movies I have gone to in the last four years plus
--I have vaped in hospital rooms many times while watching over my father
--I have vaped during plays, musicals, and theater performances

Most of the occasions I have listed above I had to resort to stealth vaping, because the rules are insanely hypocritical and absurd.
And not once, in those four years plus of stealth vaping has ANYONE ever noticed.

I will vape openly wherever I am allowed, but living in Southern California this is a rare "privilege" to be afforded.
But when I can, with permission, I will gladly do so, without causing anyone near me any disturbance.

What makes you so sure this is a life-saving technology? The jury is still out on that. I do not know where you smoked, but I smoked on beaches in parks and everywhere I was outdoors therefore I do not think I made a blanket proposition. lmao...........

I have no idea of what you are talking about. I vape where I think I should vape and no-one should have a problem with that. Vaping is not a religion. It is just the lessor of 2 evils. Where do you vape anyway? lol

This doesn't surprise us. You started a thread but, admittedly have no idea of the issues facing those who vape, the history of vaping, those aligned against vaping and why and the rationale of our position to vape openly but respectfully. If you do a little research, you might find that vaping is far more than the "lesser of 2 evils". I do agree that it is not a "religion". There are some excellent studies and information on the CASAA web site.

Has anyone seen that provocative commercial on vaping from the UK. I do not know if it is good or bad for vaping but it was certainly the most over the top commercial I have ever seen. Too sexually explicit I think. I wish someone can find it and post it hear...I should have started a thread on that. lol...someone please find it.

You made a blanket proposition when you suggested that vapers should not vape where smoking is not allowed.
Just because you flaunted the law doesn't make it appropriate to accept unjust laws without question.

And yes, given that you live in New Jersey, you are the last one that should be talking about this.
New Jersey was the first state to equate vaping with smoking and restrict it to the same degree as smoking is restricted.

What makes you so sure this is a life-saving technology?
Four plus years of reading every study ever done on electronic cigarettes.

I vape everywhere. I generally will set my mod on the table, bar or what ever depending on where I am at. With in a very small time frame some one asks about it and I will make the time to explain and demo. I'll even let them try mine. I ask for a few extra tip covers every time I visit one of my not so local vape shops and carry a couple with me. I live in a small town and I have yet to run in to someone who has tried anything other than blu or some other gas station type of e-cig and has formed their opinion base on those types of devices. I have yet to find anyone who has a problem with vapeing.

The biggest difference for me (between vaping and smoking) is that I never smoked in the house, I now frequently vape in the comfort of my living room, and when I vape outside it's because the weather is pleasant and I just want to be out there.

At work my manager was so happy that I was giving up the analogs, he said he would support me in my right to vape in my office, however my officemate freaked out the first time I pulled out my VTR because she was afraid to be subjected to second hand water vapor. After trying to explain to her there WAS no danger in "second hand vapor" and realizing my explanations were falling on deaf ears, I decided not to fight that battle and potentially put my manager in the middle of a precedent establishing fight he may very well lose I don't vape at my desk when she is around.
