Good morning, j0kers. Nice view, Poe, but where are the trees? :D

We keep them in the parks, where they belong.

I am truly not a "oooh. Look at all the plant life around me" person. But some years ago I was in Venice. At the end of a long day's sightseeing, I found myself in front of Ezra Pound' home. It had a large, walled garden with trees, grass and flowers. And I realized that it was the ONLY green I had seen all day. I stood and stared for a long time. While I don't need a ton of the stuff, it's amazing how much having a bit of flora scattered about lightens the mood.

I e-mailed a vendor but haven't heard back (and it's been almost 8 whole hours) so maybe one of you electronically-minded people will know…

My favorite mod is Ralph's MBM. It vapes beautifully. It fits my hand perfectly (my hands both hate tubes and they hurt if I hold one too long.) And one of the things I love most is that it uses rechargeable NiMH batteries.

If a mod is made with a AA battery box, is here any reason you can't use AA batteries instead of 14500s? (In this case I'm looking at a 2 battery VV setup so the AAs might no supply enough power, but I'm also interested in general.)

Jane, I spent my early years in a small city, but when my family moved out to the country, I knew that this is where I belonged. I was in New York, way back when and I remember walking down a street, it might have been Wall Street or 5th avenue. I really don't remember, because I was fixated on the tall buildings, with a tiny opening, where the sky was. It just wasn't for me.

Hi Poeia. Yes there is a very good reason you cannot. The voltages are different. The NiMH batteries are 1.2 volts nominal output. So it takes four of them in series to get you at around 5 volts (4.8 actually). The lithiums are right around 3.7 to 4.2V each, so you would use 1 or 2 with perhaps a regulator circuit.

I just had a few minutes to catchup here. Not enough time to get creative or anything. So, I have to fly by. :(

Fudgey@ Good news on son. I hope he passes the medical exams with flying colors! :) :)

Ah. So if I got a non-variable voltage mod with space for two 14500 batteries, I could use two AAs without risking blowing anything up (if I wanted to vape at 2.4V.)

Gotta run...

Good news is I got the lists done that I was working on!!

I'd rather go to the dentist then do this type stuff!!!

CULz
That sounds like the type of stuff I don't mind doing at all.

I'm just so sick of my apartment looking like a battery store.
18350 IMR -- V8 (VV)
18350 Li-ion -- Little Chuck
18650 -- Big Chuck
CR123 -- Big Chuck (at 6V)
16340 -- Little Chuck or Screwdriver (hate, hate, hate a bottom button. It makes my hand hurt worse than any tube mod)
AA -- MBM

I don't want another type of battery. But, as VV devices are supposed to use IMR batteries, anything that doesn't take an 18350 will add to my collection.
