I also got a Krimson Kustom while they were on sale (but he hurt his back so it's going to be a little while before he's modding again.) I do like having multiples so I want to see if the difference in performance or whatever is worth the price difference ($17.) The KK has box/button/led color choices which is nice -- makes each one easy to identify -- but if I don't feel like it performs better, I don't need the colors.
But it will be a while before I order another. First I have to determine if I like them. I suspect I will. Box mods are the right shape for my hands. I still have one working MBM and an Ovale V8. When those die, I'll replace them with box mods if all goes well.
I was having a little problem with my Vivi Novas. At first I thought it was just the one I dropped so hard. Then the other one. I finally identified the problem -- the
coils kept getting loose. I thought it was from opening and closing the top but this morning I identified the cause. Some of my liquids are in these nice, flat plastic bottles. They fit in my carrying case very well. But I bought them when I was dripping so I made sure to get "drop at a time" plugs. I slide the tip in between the coil and the out wall and, by the time I finish squeezing & releasing, squeezing & releasing to get enough liquid down the side of the VN, I've given the coil several hard shoves.
I do have spare, glass dropper bottles and I found some long, narrow streaming tips that won't travel (the top covers the opening but doesn't screw in place) but will work at home so, at least, the 45 or so bottles I have left won't go to waste.
