My biggest problem is it's the same motion.
Walking is a bit different. Walking on level grown, up hills, down hills, and making turns.

When I walk to the Post Office or CVS, I have to go up a steep hill....both ways, because it's a U shaped hill. So I go downhill and then I go uphill, both ways.
It's a challenge, but it's much easier since I stopped smoking and started vaping.

I don't mind walking but in this neighborhood you never know if you will run into a dog that isn't leashed or fenced. And walking around with a club isn't such a good idea......LOL I would go with mace but I don't wanna get that close to use it.
It's good exercise, Jan. I rarely miss an opportunity to climb stairs, I refuse to use an elevator. We have a two story library and they have an elevator to get to the second floor. It's a good thing for disabled people, but I see a lot of healthy people using it. I never have and hope that I never have to.
Jan, the most lazy thing that I have ever seen, was someone who lived across the street from the library. They got in their car and drove across the street, to get to the library. They had no trouble walking that I could see.
