OMG, I think that was used in the Middle Ages, to extract confessions, from prisoners. :shock:

It's good exercise, Jan. I rarely miss an opportunity to climb stairs, I refuse to use an elevator. We have a two story library and they have an elevator to get to the second floor. It's a good thing for disabled people, but I see a lot of healthy people using it. I never have and hope that I never have to.
