Deciding whether to buy a new computer on Friday. My Mac four and a half years old and slow but works fine. The problem is that things that come out for the new OS (like flash player and java) aren't backwards compatible any longer. Went to the Apple store today with my specs. My computer can handle the download of the new OS -- barely -- and it will slow it down even more.

They've got a sale on Friday. I think, if the price on what I want drops more than a couple of $, I'll do it. (I might even spring for 8GB RAM rather than the 4GB it comes with. My current Mac has 2GB so 8 will feel supersonic.)
