I have never had a laptop. I want a mouse and a full-size keyboard and carrying those around kind of defeats the mobility of a laptop.
One of the problems with Macs is the price-fixing. They never go on sale and other stores that carry them are required to charge the same price (or Apple won't let them carry their line any longer.) But I got an e-mail from Apple that they're having a sale on Friday. That got me off my .... to find out if I need to upgrade. If it's $10 off, I'll wait and do it in my own time. If it's $100 off, I'll buy.
Turkey Day is at Dad's retirement community with sister, niece (who moved to Chicago a few months ago), five cousins from New England, Dad's friend from across the hall, her two daughters & sons-in-law and, I guess, her grandson.

I have a laptop and it is hooked up to a keyboard, mouse and another monitor. The display on my laptop is going out so it's not very portable right now
I am cooking and all the kids will be here......should have about 15 for dinner this year. Then I collapse

Going to dinner so no cooking and the younger generation has pretty much taken over the clean up so it's going to be a pretty easy day for me.
Basically stuff myself and then be lazy so it all stay with me for a long time.

We were only gone about 2 1/2 hours so that is pretty much what our day was too.
