What the hell, Ralph, you were in jail? Well, I'm glad that you are out, now. :) As for the j0kers, the group is dead. Only JJ2 and sometimes Fudgey and Poeia post here anymore. Zelda has her love nest in the Veteran's forum and Norie is still on Facebook. She only comes to the ECF to say hello to Kent C, in his thread in the Vets.

I'm thinking of asking to have the j0ker thread closed.

Hi Jerry. Good to see you. :) I know its dead, but what would be the point of closing it? Where would I have gone when I got back?

OMG what did you do?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe you did something that landed you there!

Oh (((hugs))) it must have been awful!!

And so glad to see you. :)

Hiya there sweet Jan. I was doing 75 in a 55. When the occifer pulled me over, he did a thorough search of my vehicle. I had this big pet pillow in the back that I got from a friend of a friend. It was missing something... :( So they hauled me in on an MTV, as its called. Grrr! I cant believe thats a federal offense!

Wow, Ralph, what an experience! No, I hadn't heard! I am so sorry to hear that you had some terrible holidays, but I am so happy they didn't throw away the key and that you're home now. Sending some positive energy your way during meditation tonight.:)

I have to be honest with you Sea.... You know those tags that say "Do Not Remove Under Penalty of Law"... you know, on mattresses and pillows and other soft stuff of questionable origin? Well, as it turns out, that is a federal law. A felony offense actually. I think the trooper was reaching a bit, but oh well. Free room and board for three months. Not so bad. Sigh.

I don't believe it, Ralph, that's ridiculous. Jail time for removing that tag? Are we living in North Korea?

They couldn't make the charges stick. Forensics showed that the tag had been snipped quite some time ago. They tried to trump it up... "Accessory to removal" and vice versa. In the end the judge dropped the charges and let me out for time served.

Oh Ralph! That is just freaking nutz!!! How dare those dummyheads reach that far. Hey, wait, just wait til that trooper's karma catches up with him - he's really going to be stepping in it deeply! I can't believe that our justice system is so totally corrupt to jail someone for that ... especially considering the economic situation and the overcrowded prisons. I'm so sorry for you, friend.:( Really sorry.:(

That's nuts, Ralph. Forensics? Don't they have anything better to do? There are real criminals out there and they are wasting time and taxpayer money, prosecuting someone for a missing tag? That ticks me off. We both served this country and then B.S. like that happens?

OK guys, I am starting to feel real bad here :( .......

What is this thread known for? Are we not Jokers? Do not we jest for a living on this thread? I am really just clowning around here.... embarrassed that I haven't been able to give my friends here some attention in almost three months. I suck! But the above account really was fiction, and a parody on those silly tags. I did not go to jail. Did not get stopped by the police.... Gotcha!!!
