I get the appeal of the fasttech nemesis being so cheap but the hcigar nemesis is noticeably better quality for $20 more. I have no problem spending $50 to know that I'm getting a device that will have zero issues.

Been using my FT Nemesis clone for a couple of months. Had to clean the threading but otherwise a solid performing mechanical mod. No issues what so ever. Matter of fact I loved it so much I bought a second one. Just received my magnets from supermagnetman and now they are both smooth as butter. I have Russian 91's on both and carry them with me everyday. One in 18350 mode and the other in 18650. You just can't go wrong for $30. My biggest issue right now is shipping from FT. Used to get everything within 10 days without fail. Since the big shipping debacle, it has taken well over 30 days to get anything. YMMV when it comes to shipping.

I can't believe no one caught this!!! AW doesn't make a flat top battery that i'm aware of. Protected or safer chemistry. If your's are indeed "flat tops", you need to replace them as they are not genuine AW brand!!!

I had to go halfway down the page on google images to find ones that were not counterfeits.
I bought mine from Genuine AW Batteries at RTD Vapor they used to have the best prices...I don't know if that is still true now.
Efest IMR batteries are good too, but again, you need to watch out for counterfeits.

Efests are ok, but my AW's out perform them by a good margin.

My AWs work great but my new Sony 30a blows it away.
Don't buy batteries from anything less than an authorized reputable dealer.
Don't skimp on safety. We at only talking 10-20$.

If you don't over tighten the Trident, the pin will not get pushed up.

Just ordered my 4th Nemesis. I have several different Mechanical Mods that work well but there is just something special about the Nemesis.

On the topic of a clone from FT I bought 2 from fasttech a nemesis and the sentinal m16. These people are right the nemesis is a good mod but the M16 blows it away and it's only 11 bucks. I would tell anyone to buy the m16 if they want a mech mod
And don't want to drop a few hundred bucks.

I also got the m16 and I have it topped with a trident clone, really nice setup. I've only had a about a month so I dont know how well those aluminum threads will hold up, but I think if your careful and arent changing toppers every five minutes it should do well. You really cant beat it for 12 bucks tho.
I plan on getting a nemesis for my kayfun 3.1 clone.

The M16 is hard to beat,it solid as a tank,you can literally throw this at a brick wall and it will still work perfect,try that with the Nemmy,i have both.but i love the the brass Nemmy for it s beauty,both hit the same.The Private to me now is garbage,way too clunky and the inner tubes are too thin.

waiting for my m16 to come....i had the chi and sold it, first because it wasn't 18500 compatible and thats the battery of choice and also the button is junky, the thing is barely held on by the spring and falls out all the time
