Hey guys, looking to get my first RTA, never built a coil in my life. I will be running it on my smok G150. these are my options based on stocking at my local shop:

-Vandy Vape Govad RTA

-Vandy Vape Kylin RTA

-Vandy Vape Berserker MTL RTA

-Vandy Vape Kensei 24 RTA (fairly new)

-GeekVape Zeus Leakproof RTA

-Vandy Vape Mesh 24 RTA

Any opinions or suggestions are greatly appreciated, let me know which one I should get as my first rba! I feel like if I get a single coil deck I'm going to want a dual later on, so maybe I should go for a dual?

I'd recommend the Exo RTA, Engine Nano or Crius II. All three are single coil, as well as easy to build and wick, whereas the Exo offers an additional dual coil deck in the box, if you should feel more adventurous later on.
Believe OP only has access to the rtas on his list darling. Agree with your recommendations 100% under other circumstances.

I love my Zeus and believe it would be easier to learn. That being said with the Kensei your building options will be almost endless. Watch a couple yt vids for both.

That's why I'm torn! I know that once I get past the learning curve imma want a dual deck with more options for new builds... at the same time I have 0 experience with building only have done research but no actual hands on :/

I was terrified of building at first too. Laugh at myself now for it. Actually pretty easy to master. Stick with a regulated mod and use Steam Engine. Start with simple single wire spaced coils. Go for the Kensei, I believe YOU would get more use from it for a longer time. Watch some building videos and ask questions on the building threads. The only stupid questions are the ones you don't ask. Wealth of building knowledge here and plenty of people happy to help. I learned to enjoy the journey rather than hide from it.

Yeah I think I might just go in for the kill and get the Kensei. The only advantage I see with the Zeus is simplicity... although it is leakproof which is a pretty good selling point. With both of them being 44.99 (CAD) it doesn't make sense to get the Zeus as there's more possibilities with the Kensei.

Ill definitely have some questions when I make my purchase and I won't hesitate to ask. :)

Lititia, I'm wondering about the Zeus. I've been building on single coil RTAs for a while and the one unit that drove me batty was the Geekvape Ammit. The Zeus intrigues me because it is supposed to be leak proof but I have a bad feeling about Geekvape. Tell me more.

I enjoy it, except for the slotted screws. Waiting on grubs for it. Some are having wicking issues at first, they do like a warmer vape than I do. Believe most of them on the Zeus thread have gotten it dialed in. Larger diameter coils are better for Zeus 3.5 is the smallest I will use going forward. I love the af, so smooth it's just sexy no matter how open/closed it is. For flavor I still get better from my Nanos, but not by much. Think they may be equal but different in the future.
