First post folks. Love this forum. It's been so helpful. I tried a ecig from a liquor store about a year ago and wrote the whole thing off. Bad experience. About four months ago I started following the ecig subreddit which led me to ECF. I lurked for about two months to get over the learning curve and finally decided to jump in and get a couple ego twists and a couple vivi nova minis. I have to say, it was hard for me at first. I went to a local shop and tried a lot of flavors and nothing seemed to work. I vaped less than I smoked. A week ago I got some Boba's Bounty and I've almost given up analogs. It's the first juice I've tried that I can use all day. I started with A Quiet Morning which I liked. Then I found Torque 56 from Halo. Much better, but I still smoked. Since getting Boba's Bounty I've smoked less than a pack over the last week. I finally think I might be able to successfully make the transition. Thanks to all the folks on this forum and reddit for helping me though the learning curve. The thing about this whole ecig thing is you have to do the time and learn the ropes and find what works for you. I'm not a patient man, but I want to quit so badly that it made me stick with it.

The gas-station 'cigalikes' only left me craving a smoke. My eGo has saved the day! Yay!!!! Good Luck, it's crazy how enjoyable this whole vaping experience has turned out to be :D
A fellow Ego vaper. I too started with a gas station disposable. In my case just to see what an E-cig was all about. It sucked but not as bad as i thought. It was enough to get me down to my local vape shop and get an Ego T. I love my Ego except for the clearo leaking. I know there is bigger and better out there but for now it works.

I'm just wondering how many of you all quit analogs once they got their first e cig/pv? I've tried my friends' ecigs and am getting my first one in the mail tomorrow. Hoping I can get off analogs right away, maybe input could give me motivation for that? Plus I'm simply curious.

I actually timed it to the second, i was finishing the last analog in my pack as I pulled in to the B&M's parking lot, I have not touched an analog since then, The best of luck to you :)

G'day, so how are getting along with your E-cig, hope it worked for you as it did for me. Once the small learning curve is over its plain sailing you will notice within a week that you feel better than before, and those around you who are none smokers will not need to be told that you have quite because you wont be smelling like an ashtray, my Daughter told me that.
So yeah! hope it works for you.

I smoked for around 50 yrs. and tried everything to quit but alas nothing worked. Then I ran into the mall thing. I knew I could get them cheaper online so I went home to start searching and found ECF got a 510 and in jan it will be 3 yr's without stinkies.

I haven't smoked tobacco since starting to vape.

It's interesting, I've quit smoking numerous times where I would go for a month or two without tobacco. Then I'd get a whiff of tobacco smoke and it smelled soooo good, or I had some stressor in life that made me crave that nicotine glow. Now I can't stand the smell of tobacco smoke--that has NEVER happened before.

I absolutely adore vaping. I love the plumes of vapor, the great flavors, and all the thousands of TOYS. TOYS, TOYS, TOYS! Toys to research, buy, sell, fondle, admire, fiddle with, modify, personalize, and vape with. Maybe it's a guy thing.
