Hi Karla
If you go to the reo site and find the pic of what you bought and right click on the pic it will bring up a menu to save to your computer. Just save the pics to your desktop or whatever folder is easiest for you. Then,
Post it here. There is an icon on the menu that allows you to post pic or attach a pic to your post..

Ya know I got an email that says I bought it but didn't get a conf email. :( I guess it didn't go all the way through or something. I even got an order # and everything saying I got it. Wierd huh? Very nice. I did get a VV for both the hubby and I though. I can't figure out how to post the pics though :(

If you got to paypal and checked out then you got it :) I didn't get an order confirmation from reosmods until a few hours later, for a while all I had was just the email alert from paypal that I'd sent a payment. Check your spam folder and if it's not there you could always email Rob and ask

I'm one of those goofballs that still digs the 801 atomizer, so I BEGGED Rob to hook me up and he obliged. What a swell guy.

This baby is being held hostage by the USPS at the moment, but will hopefully come home to Poppa soon.

It does pay off sometimes to be different. ;)

under the blue sky
When all the pics were up on REOs site, I browsed through them. I liked each and every one of them, but only saw one that really caught my eye. I thought to myself, "If I weren't waiting for the VV Grands, that very last one on page 8 looks like it would fit in around here".

I had completely decided to wait for the VV Grands. There was no doubt at all in my mind that I could and should wait. I volunteered for two weeks of tower maintenance work for our most remote com towers. I should have been in some very remote wilderness at the time of the sale... but BLM closed the trail head and booted us out of the forest because of an avalanche and the probability of more avalanches where we were going.

I took it as a sign from the universe and borrowed my work-mates laptop when we got to the motel. Their DSL sucked - REOs webhost sucked - my workmates laptop is vintage and therefore sucks - - but interestingly enough, I did indeed come away with that last one on page 8.

And, my boss called today and pulled us off our next job. We are coming home for at least a week, so I should be home to sign for it. I already use 18350s in my triple-v so I have plenty of them.

I didn't have a list of 1-5 picks. I didn't have a strategy. It was a total impulse buy which necessitated an hour or more of patience. I'm glad it's coming and I hope I like it at least as well as I like the VVPV. I can't think of a single reason why I wouldn't... but regardless I have high hopes and higher expectations for this PV.

Yep. When I copy the URL from your post it works. Don't know why it won't work off the Reo site. I was also able to save it on my compter so I have a copy now. LOL Thanks. vv_Curly_Oak_6_4f8f154937536_100x100.jpg

Maybe you can post pic of the curly oak 6 too so I can copy a regular size pic of that one too so I will have it. ;) These weren't my first or even second choice but I kept having compter issues or would get to check out and the one I wanted was gone. :( But I still got ones I really like. I really like the ones that were 2 tone or 2 different types of wood best. Maybe someone will want to trade down the line. I feel pretty lucky to have just gotten any of them. :)
Also is there some kind of wax or wood protectant I should get to use on these?

EDIT: Also can someone tell me what kind of batteries I need. I guess I better order them now so I can use this beauties when they get here. Also where's the best place to get the batteries that will ship fast? Should I go with AW? Are they worth the extra couple of dollars?

I can't copy the image with Chrome, but with Internet Explorer, it's ok...
maybe that's why i was having problems. I use google Chrome. Thank you!! :)

The VV Woodvil takes 2x18350, 2x16340, or 2xRCR123A. 18350's are your best bet, but also currently the hardest to find.
Wow. What's the difference? Do they all make it run or work the same? I found the 18350's but there are only 4 of them and I want to get 8 so we each have 2 sets. Maybe I should just get the 4 and try to find 4 more elsewhere. What would be the difference if I got the other kind 2x16340, or 2xRCR123A? Thanks.

18350's will give you the most mah. They're just about the same height as the 16340's but bigger around. The 123A's have less mah than the 16340's, and are just a wee shorter but will still work.

As in all things REO, your best bet is IMR high-drain batteries, AW preferred.
