I just beat the main quest line last night. Freakin' awesome, for sure

I've completed the Mage's questline, the Companions, the Thieves Guild and now I'm deciding between starting the Brotherhood, fighting the civil war, or completing all of the Daedric quests... what an amazing game! 90 hours in and still an abundance left to do! AMAZING!

Loving this game! Still haven't really ventured out from Whiterun but for some surrounding quests. Still haven't even been to the champions' mead hall in Whiterun. Steam says 7 hours of play time but it sure seems like it's been a whole lot more (I thought it was around 15!). Lvl 10 wood elf, just discovered the smelter and turned all that ore I mined into ingots and turned those ingots into 11 levels of the smithing skill and tens of iron daggers :D The house is awesome; I just furnished it with the bedroom set and there's a chest with unlimited carrying in my room now. It's where I put all those dragon scales and claws and ingots I cant work with yet. I like how when you complete a quest you don't get XP like say Fallout 2 but instead - apart of course from the elder scrolls skill leveling - you get permission to take lots of their stuff from their house or shop. I've probably spent about $7,000 (5,500 on the house + enchanted weapons) and still have $3,000 left, but I sold every plate and goblet in the Jarl's place to get there :D

My nephew comes over and we play FPS... When I got BF3, he came over and we leveled up my classes... I got Skyrim...

I did not know this, but he LOVES watching other people play RPG's... He actually enjoys watching me loot every single corpse in a dungeon and then slow walk to a town....

I haven't touched BF3 in almost 3 weeks...

I haven't played BF3 since Skyrim came out.

 - Slow walk! I think it's an interest and good change from Oblivion, where you simply couldn't move when over-encumbered. Do you have a 'mule' (companion) with you? I prefer to fast travel back and forth instead of hauling but that isn't very RP

Levitas- I'll see your awesome acoustic vocal video and raise you metal instrumental.

That being said, on my 2nd character now, first one just kinda rushed through the main story line. So I decided to sight-see my way through Skyrim this time playing my "Breton Brickwall," a crazy new archetype I discovered that is ridiculously fun to play.

Smith smith smithing away, level 15 and 61 smithing with improve enchanted weapons perk

Lots o daggers for sale :) And I carry this pickaxe everywhere!

I didn't even bother selling any daggers beyond the first 20 or so, got tired of running around to every single city because I'd be lucky to sell 1 dagger to a vendor before they were out of cash, a few I even bought things like ebony ingots from just to get their bankroll high enough to sell them a dagger.

BTW, Banish=Most Valuable Enchant for making money, Iron Dagger with a single charge (Petty Soul Gem) of Banish lvl 10 Daedra is worth more than 1.5k.

Jesus, you DO need to take a break! I got owned again trying to get the black star, so I gave up & just started the theives guild quests. Got my first game freeze when a dragon was attacking me. That was fun. Oh, why are there random dragon attacks?

Hey wrigleyvillain, what mods are you using?

I'm up to level 41, just started TG. I'm really happy with the game so far

Christ, where to start? You're better off looking at the Top 100 over at the Nexus. Perhaps I could answer questions or provide opinions on specific mods you find there...

What's TG?

And yeah once you get to a certain early point in the main quest dragons will hunt you. No worries; that many more bones and scales with which to make armor.
