Why are drippers so common as far as RBA's/RDA's?

I'll give you compactness. but a dripper doesn't exactly do the rest of those any better. Especially neatness considering you have to even drip in the first place vs having your juice contained in a tank.
Eh.

tanks leak - or at least mine do. Perhaps I'm simply a barbarian.

:)

But taste . . . no contest. Except maybe for the Pulse G (which delivers on taste in spades!) I use tanks only for convenience. They're fine for bold, unsubtle flavors, but the rest really do taste best in a dripper.

But that, of course, is my :2c: and nothing more.

I use a few different rebuildables. The AGA-T with SS is great; really clean taste, no cotton break-in period required and those SS wicks last a long time. I know they can be bult with cotton, but then all the drawbacks of cotton come into play; can't be dry burned, break-in required. I thought about it a couple of times, but if it ain't broke, why try to fix it ;)

Kayfuns don't leak and have great flavor, but they are bit low on power for me.

Just started using a Aqua RBA, dual coil Kayfun type and that has been awesome so far. A dual coil Kayfun that has better air flow than regular Kayfuns and handles more power. Also does not leak so it's portable.

I used to use my Trident dripper a lot and still really appreciate it. Dual micro coils with cotton. I typically vape with four bottles of juice beside me and change/mix flavors from one drip set to the next. That's a really nice vape experience.

The Reo is a dripper without the disadvantages of dripping and has a 'tank' attached. Best of all worlds IMO. I can also 'spike' a different flavor into the juice by dripping. It's totally portable so it's a great out and about mod.

So, why do I drip, when I drip? No tank complexities which means you can put as much power on them as you want without having to worry about the wicking from a tank keeping up. The system dependability that gives you is very nice. Very easy to change wicks. Very easy to swap/mix flavors on the go. Very easy on the wallet.

IMO, flavor can be tuned via air flow and build in a genny or a dripper. Using my RSST's and my IgoW back to back the only thing I found the Igo better for was cloud chasing.

Hardcore cloud chasers aside. For the average vaper, what makes drippers so popular? There seem to be plenty of gennies out there that are capable performing the same with the benefit of having a tank.

That being said, why would someone willingly carry around a bottle of juice when they could just get a genny, throw a cotton or similar build on it and have an auto dripper? Is it because most people don't realize you can build gennies like drippers?

Yes.

I love dripping for the flavor but hated having to carry a bottle in my pocket to drip. Now I just squonk and enjoy the benefits of dripping with a 6ml capacity at my fingertip. It's a beautiful thing!

Well, I use a dripper but only when I'm home. I like it because I can easily change eliquid or to try out new flavors. I don't have to commit to filling a full tank especially if I'm not sure I'll like it. That said, it is inconvenient when I'm out and about. The only reason I'm not a fan of gennies is having to keep it upright and tilting a certain way to take a vape. I'm not always focused on how I hold my device so that makes them a PIMA.

Live well, Love hard, Laugh often & Vape on!

All the benefits of dripping, none of the draw backs, doesn't get any better :)

FWIW my RSST doesn't leak nor do I tilt it to vape. I do tilt it to help wicking sometimes though when the juice get's low.

If you notice, they're all laying on their side.

In otherwords ... if it leaks ... it doesn't go in my pocket! (or lay in my lap) And ya, I'm picky about stuff like that. So no drippers or gennies with side holes, and nothing that is just held togeather by an o-ring for me ... thanks just the same.
The problem with the KF ... it's only seen one flavor sinse I got it. The KF is nice to have when driving, but it doesn't hold a candle to my drippers.

    add:
    Oh and, I'm 73 and a dripper.

Remember i said i was guessing....... And my guess was based only on my observations. I never said all drippers are young. In fact i am 56 and drip at home about half the time.

When i visit the B@Ms near me all the clerks are under 30 and they all drip. Most of the customers i see who are older are looking non drippable items

    No offense meant
