i'm not really a fan of those square ones. ya know, the ones that look like a metal cigarette box. granted i never tried one but i'm big on visuals and those just aren't aesthetically appealing to me.

You mean the box mod's like the iTaste MVP? They feel VERY sturdy in your hand and hold suuuuch a long charge. But as far as look wise... Eh I would have to agree.

Sent from my iPhone because I'm awesome like that.

Who thinks up this stuff? Like the Innokin 134 or the Cool Fire? It looks like something only a pimply faced, straight male teenager or college student could use.

Or a door gunner.

Approaching the OP from a different angle, designs are generally locked into the available battery designs which were originally designed for flashlights. Big square laptop batteries generally contain a series-parallel arrangement of 18650 batts.

Flat pack (cellphone style) batteries could change the typical shape of an ecig. Those are available in 2000mah to 3000mah varieties as we speak. Those batts are generally more expensive but dropping in price. You can get a flat pack cell battery in 1800mah for about $8 at Amazon now and a 2100mah batt for about $12, so cost isn't much of a barrier.

Tubular is still in. Square shapes may one day switch to flat pack designs. High drain capability is the barrier right now. I think we will have to wait for the next big technology jump in high drain miniature batteries before we see innovation in ecig design that allows high C ratings with smaller cells.

...I would not take the Cool Fire on an airplane trip that is for sure...

I was worried about that wit my MVP on a recent flight, but security did not blink an eye in either direction. Not sure if that makes me feel better that they uunderstand vape gear, or worse that it passed right by them twice.

On the other hand, I like the appearance of the Johnson Creek Vea. Is it so hard to make a tasteful e-cig?

Wow, so much vitriol/stereotyping/bigotry to fit into the three short opening sentences! Bravo to the BRAVO channel crowd!

By the way, some of the biggest firearms entusiasts I know happen to be gay. Something about being armed preventing victimhood.

I actually checked out a coolfire today, at a b&m. It may be ugly, but looks to be about as solid as it gets and felt really good in my hand. The downside was that it is ridiculously heavy for a mod that only holds a single 18350. If it could have stacked or fit a 18650, I might have bought it.

I'm not a pimply faced kid, I served in the gulf war (back in the 90's). Sorry if my heterosexuality offends your sensibilities. I like the way the 134 looks, actually. I just didn't like the way it felt in my hand.

One of the "Housewives of Beverly Hills" was vapin on a super bling one. Don't know where to get those but would love to check out the site as I wouldn't look good in every day clothes with that much bling but bet they have classy looking ones too. Ive combed the net looking at the usual "lady type" sites mentioned here and no luck finding anything even approaching what she had.... not all women like girley pink/purple. The manish looks of mods is what keeps me using an Eroll in public. So far I haven't seen any wraps that do it for me either... phsychedic and butterflies not my cup of tea. Someone should start making hard covers, both tube and box in something besides the usual wood/stone which are manish too, to cover the man look mods. A guy in a tux looks fine with most of what's on the market but the gal on his arm in her gown doesn't.
