Why did you start vaping?

Because I want to stop smoking and I can save a lot of money because everyday I will buy a box of cigarette..

When I vaping I only spend my money on my first mod and for the juice I only need 20ml for a month.. A lot money will save here.. :)

One more thing because I'm vaping and want to stop smoking is I'm just married and I don't want my wife exposed to the disease because of my smoke habit.. :)

I always told myself I would quit when I hit 30 years old. I was really getting tired of smelling like crap all the time and had been thinking about trying an ecig for quite some time. Luckily, a friend of mine has been pretty into vaping for a while and was able to kind of put me in the right direction. I am so glad I didnt try one of those cheap joints from 7-11 or a mall kiosk and end up getting turned off completely. I will say this though, it can get pretty expensive. I thought I would be saving money at first, but I am no doubt spending more. I didnt know how hard it would be to find juices that I really enjoyed and how many different options there were as far as hardware and set-ups and juice vendors, etc. I have spent atleast $150 on juice that I dont even vape since I started about a month ago. However I really do enjoy immersing myself in all the different aspects of vaping and learning about every facet of the realm of vaping. I mean I didnt realize how much I would be spending my time looking at different vendor sites, and trying juices and hardware combinations. Whenever I order something I love getting it in the mail and the anticipation is awesome. When I find something I really like, it is just about the best thing in the world. I wish I could find somewhere to trade juices though.....I have so many that I dont like and want to try all kinds of different vendors but juice can get pretty pricey. It blows me away how much one could spend sampling all that the vaping world has to offer.

At the beginning my situation almost same with you.. I has spend a lot of money to try everything like starter / beginner mod, tank and liquid.. But lastly I already found the best setup for my vapor.. I already spend almost 1.5k MYR for the research, and for now I just maintaining only the juice it cost us at Malaysia around MYR18/20 per 10ml bottle.. And for me I can stand 1 month with two 10ml bottle a month it mean I only spend around MYR40 per month.. When I'm smoke I will spend MYR10 per day for a box it cost me MYR300 per month and I think it quite save for me.. Believe me it can help you on everything you want with vaping someday.. :)

The TL;DR verson: Njoy Kings being a good introduction and Random Chance.

Long winded version:
Taking up vaping for me was accidental. While I knew smoking was slowly killing me I had given up on "quitting". They say that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results, right. Well after the patch (smoked on it), the gum (smoked with it in my mouth) and cold turkey (got six months once and then had to take a trip and well--Greyhound enough said) and my father's bad experience with Chantix. I had no other options. There was hypnosis but anyone who understands what hypnosis actually is knows that doesn't work--its a parlor trick. Seriously it is--Penn and Teller did a show about it.

So I sort of assumed I'd die with a pipe in my hand like my paternal grandmother and both grandfathers and two of four uncles with their cigarettes. Then one day while buying zippo fluid at Walgreens I ran into a lady who was buying Njoy Kings. I got to talking to her about it, and made a rash decision, I would buy one of those 8 dollar things. Now it must be born in mind that with a zippo, a good set of pipes one can smoke a pipe for 20 bucks a month (Vaping isn't cheaper and well 8 bucks is a lot for me to spend on an impulse).

I tried it. I actually liked the Njoy King but I knew it was no replacement. It did however plant the seed that if this disposable can be as satisfying as a bowl of tobacco then perhaps a real one (real PV that is) would be more satisfying.

That lead me to the internet, weeks of researching, and finally to the ECF where I lurked, then joined then did more research until I was comfortable going out and getting an ego kit. Had I not ran into that lady at Walgreens I would have not even considered vaping because I was sure it had to be a scam.

I had been ripped off on "smoking cessation" gimmicks before, and knew that only a THR solution would work for me, but Swedish Snus may as well be made out of gold at 8 bucks a can. (American snus is garbage except for Skoal Snus but its hard to find down here). I did think about dip and chewing tobacco but I hate spitting and nasal snuff (even though I do like it) gunks up my nose too bad to use as anything more than a supplement to either smoking or an other THR product.

I was so addicted that the thought of being in airplanes and airports for the better part of a day, where I couldn't smoke, prompted me to buy a KR808 and 5 carto's. Liked it so much I was able to walk away from a pack and a half a day with an occasional pipe full of fine tobacco and a cigar now and again. Haven't looked back and completely satisfied with my ego vv and an X6 atomizer. Got my girl to do the same, giving up her addiction to More Menthol's.

Make no mistake, we're still addicted to nicotine... just have a better and cheaper method of getting into the bloodstream.

I'v been a heavy smoker for a long time. Obviously non-smoking people around me were eagerly willing to persuade me to quit. I am a stubborn one and I like smoking, so I said "no". Still with this thought somewhere deeply inside, that I affect people by smoking I started to think of alternatives, not much though. Anyway, when I saw an electronic cigarette, I wasn't that skeptical about it anymore.

I travel a lot and the time I had my flight in Riga International Airport I saw a stand with the electronic cigarette, where they offered a test for free. I had time, so I started questioning all about it, tried it on the spot and finally bought one. Since then I gradually substituted traditional cigarettes with an electronic one. My favorite flavor still stayed tobacco one. And most importantly, I can smoke in airports now, waiting for my departures.

I smoke 20 cigs per day since 15 years.
I never believed in ecig, I thought they were just toys.
But a friend of mine, a real smoker (40 cigs a day for more than 40 years) told me he drop to 5 cigs a day just like that, by starting to vape!
Regarding this I decided to give a try and I received my Eco-C 5 days ago... and it has been 5 days without smoking :) (except 5 in the first 24 hours).

I always knew I would quit smoking 'one day'. 10 years after I started though, it just hadn't happened. Finally, our state bumped up cigarette prices by an extra $2/pack. I got frustrated with throwing even more money away, so I tried out vaping. In the short time I've been doing so, I have been AMAZED at how much smoking analogs limited me---before, I would avoid almost every situation or person that didn't approve of smoking, and of course my health wasn't that great. Now, everything seems better: The freedom, the smells, the taste, etc. (basically, everything people have already said). I'm just so excited about these changes; I really can't stop talking about it!
