I think that much of the fallacy of this argument is that regulations are meant to keep consumers safe. They are not. They are meant to limit the freedoms of markets and consumers. They limit competition. Rarely do bans and regulations make anyone safer. They only take freedoms from the consumer and often cost them more money.

Let the juice manufacturers and sellers decide what to put on their bottles. Of couse, the consumer needs to know the nic level, ingredients and possible allergic reactions. Beyond that, government should have no say. Let the consumer make the choice in what they find distasteful and then let them make their choice accordingly.

Yes, but, instead of regulations, why not have standards? Manufacturing quality standards, purity standards, nic % standards, ingredient standards.....

Have these things and if manufacturers are found lacking in the standards, then you would know which companies to avoid!

Hey I love Art. And have a lot of Respect for those who Create it.

Take this for Example...

DeShock-Blank2_large_large.jpg

G2 Vapor 15ml G2 Vapor 15ml - $7.50

Very Cool Art. Good Staging. Nice Tonal colors in the Background. And I think the Artist who created this did a Fantasic Job of Capturing the Essence of Youth in her eyes and the Slightly toed in feet. Throw in the Contrast of the Chainsaw and Blood splatters. Good Stuff.

But.

To put this Image on a Bottle of e-Liquid is just Asking ANTZ Senators to present this during a FDA Deeming Hearing and Claim that e-Cigarette Companies are Marketing to Minors.

Doesn't have Anything to do with Not Respecting Art or Artists.

Why do People/Retailers want to Help ANTZ Senators make the e-Cigarette Industry Look Bad?

Love that art, pretty sure they would turn that around and say this ejuice will cause minors to become chainsaw murderers!

Could you imagine......

I thought we were just talking about labels. Not the actual manufacture and quality standards.
