Prolly gonna get flamed, modded & everybody with a rake or a pitchfork will be after me for this but..........here goes. The very thought process that started this thread says that this person should not use a mech mod. Hope this saves another face blown off headline.

:-x I've got the tar, Joe Bob! Did you bring the feathers? :-x

:lol: :D

Actually, I agree. He's not ready for a mech at this point of the game.
There are still regulated mods out there that don't cost an arm and a leg though.
The Kbox mentioned a few pages back was a perfect example. It's not the be all end all but it works and it's something if you're determined to get off analogs.

Said it before but will repeat to add to the others OP DO NOT GET A MECH MOD, mechs are great if you have the knowledge to operate them safely nothing you have said in this thread points to you having that knowledge or being able to safely use one so forget the mech option. Still on that point the member that recommended a mech was wrong to do so, regulated is the way to go for you OP and you've had some great offer's from good people to help you out, if you haven't already I'd take them up on their kind offer's to buy you some time to source gear you need. To those who made those offer's it's really great to see that people can still surprise with their generosity and reach out to help a stranger, your fantastic people and hope you get what you deserve at Xmas.

I just wanted to say farewell to all my friends here because this is my last post here. I'm going back to traditional cigarettes. My beloved and only MOD I have the iStick 50W died on me only after 6 months it will no longer charge I used the correct charger (1 AMP). It seems that i cant keep a MOD more the 6 months and I take VERY good care of them. I'm very poor and for me to buy a cheap MOD is a very BIG DEAL. I need it to last at least a year I understand now that all MODS are essentially disposable They will eventually die. yes I save money on e-liquid but if I have to but a new $50-$80 device every 6 months it negates the savings on the liquid. I love vaping and had a deep passion for it but I just cant afford it right now I hope vaping continues on and continues saving peoples life. Love yall for all the help and goodbye.
The trick is buy a bunch of different mods and switch between them. I want a real cigarette all the time but I just can't give in after 8 months or so. I buy vape wild juice and save allot of money. less then 40 bucks will buy you over 200 ml's. you can do it man. I can't afford everything either. I'm with you, we shouldn't have to buy every mod that comes out. We should be saving money with e-ciggs. 19.99 for 30 ml's is ridiculous. I would think tobacco would cost allot more. The istick 100 is an amazing mod for someone that needs to save money,

Not quite a rage quit, not like the WoW forums back in the day.

I've had mods last me years, but then again, I am very ginger with them as well. Sorry to see you go, but as many have stated, you get out of vaping what you put into it. If the time's not right for you, the time's not right. Hope to see you back here eventually.

off topic but I think worth pointing out:

that's really just inflation;
prices double ever 7 years
(or the value of a dollar is halved in 7 years).
That has been the case over my entire lifetime so far; half century.
it's not inflation, it's all tax.. cigarettes are really around $2-4 a pack still. there are many places (typically air ports) where you can buy cigarettes tax free. my aunt recently went on vacation and she brought back several cartons at only $40 per carton.

It's funny how people act like operating a mech is like piloting a space shuttle. Give me a monkey and some bananas and I'll show you a monkey that vapes mechs.
Some monkeys are more willing than others to pay attention as to what they are doing. :D
