I have owned one for over 5 months and it is used every day. It has been dropped a few times and banged around and always works great. Almost 30,000 puffs and it still looks like new (except the bottom door where there is paint wear.

I like it because it is a relatively inexpensive mod, it is very ergonomic, fairly light and just works.

If one bricked on me, I would definately change my tune and post that it is a complete POS, but so far it has been a rock solid daily use mod that goes everywhere with me.

The Pico is a huge seller because it's about the smallest mod that will carry an 18650. In particular it is short, because of the battery cap arrangement. The Pico was criticized because it doesn't take larger atomizers and the screen is small. The Smok addresses those two issues but gets fatter in the process. I'll stick with the Pico, my favorite mod.

Thanks everyone. Was just curious. I personally don't like the way they look or their full side button. Personal preference. But I can understand for the price how they would sell so good. I personally don't want something that everyone else has. I will say I own a Pico. Thought it was cute. It's unused in a cabinet. Good for lake, beach, etc. if I lose it, oh well.

i don't get it. Nothing special about them. And that full side button. Why do so many people buy them? Just curious. Thoughts?
I love the size of it, and do enjoy the fire bar, but it's not a very good mod. The tc is seriously flawed. The battery life is great though, and the mod is very comfortable.

Not speaking for "everyone", only myself.

With my old, numb, stubby, and trembly hands......what's not to like.....or even love? I can't count the number of times I picked up my mod, took a hit, and got nothing. Sometimes I picked it up backwards, others my finger just plain missed the button. I once thought my IPV 400 solved my "problem", but with the Alien and now the G-Priv and AL85, it's as simple as a grab and squeeze. Doesn't really matter how I picked it up, just that the drip tip hits my lips.

The small size, comfortable fit, pocket friendly, long battery life, and the larger screen is just a bonus given my failing eyes! For me, what's not to love?

Yup, that's an almost perfect review on it. It is extremely small for a 2 battery mod, but TC isn't really useful. Get past the TC, and it's a decent carry around 2 battery mod that's pocket friendly.

I can see why that is perfect for you. Good point

Don't have it, but I can see the appeal..
  • Cheap price
  • Very small size for a dual battery
  • Appears to be reliable for most
  • Squeeze trigger (once you use one for a while, buttons are very annoying)
  • Large screen
  • Balanced charging
Not really many cons for it.. aside the paint chipping of the first batches.

Almost got one, but then the Predator came out and won me over the Alien.

Its a fine mod, nothing amazing but it is the smallest and lightest dual batt mod I have. I've been half tempted to get a matching AL85 just because. The firmware is nothing short of a nightmare to update but at least the menu is friendly and easy. I put it on par with the SX chipsets for ease of use.

Smok is putting out a ton of products and none of them so far have made me scratch my head on why they made it. I am also looking forward to getting my hands on a Osub 80 baby as I prefer single batt mods when going out and about.
