I think one of the worst things we have done here is to start vaping classifications.
Why would a community want to start segregating fellow vapors into categories?

Don't we all vape - in whatever manor we wish - because vaping satisfies us? Isn't that what really matters?

My vape is a temp controled mod set to 500 degrees and 40 watts max with various rda clones. These days that's a tootle puffer. You're not a manly vaper unless your rig is 6 car batteries and a fire extinguisher sized atomizer all mounted on a hand truck.

I wrote a joke today. Good news. We got a nuclear deal with Iran. Bad news. They discovered Isis on Pluto.

ive been vaping 6 month. tried squonking and did not like it. tried sub-ohming and did not like that.we all have our own taste and preferences. one size does not fit all.as long as it keeps us off tobacco that all that really matters.

Actually none of these "labels" are intentional to segregate who is who, but more just out of fun. Take bowling for example, there are 20 teams all with silly or descriptive names for the sake of fun and identity, but they are not different, they are all bowlers. I think some just take the labeling thing just a bit too far....it is just words....sticks and stones!

It is not bad. At least they are vaping.

Its kinda like the car you drive. I get allot of fast movers that like to pass me because my 5.29 gears don`t allow me to go very fast with a 4 cylinder, so I let them go by and give them a friendly wave as they fly by. I do this knowing that if I ever wanted to, I could crawl right over them at the stop light.

Vaping just keeps me off cigarettes--nothing more, nothing less. I'm a tootle/tootie puffer, less than 9 watts. Go ahead and laugh if you want, doesn't bother me at all. I haven't smoked a cigarette in over two years, and I'm still amazed that I don't smoke any more after more than 45 years. Yay, win, win!

This is quite a fun romp through the world of vaping! :pop: I love all the monikers that people make up to define what they are doing. I am a tootle puffer by default. (De-fault of my gear! I build a 1.8Ω coil and anything over 9Watts or OR 5.4 volts just tastes burnt.) I can't quite figure out how some people use higher watts.:?:
I am just proud of how I got off cigs, I never thought I could!
OP good for you, keep on vaping!

The more heat, the more airflow is needed... the high-watters and low-ohmers mostly don't "mouth-to-lung" because with that much airflow, it would be pretty unsatisfying.

I don't know if you're still reading this thread or not, I stopped after the 2nd page, but most Tootlepuffers found their full time set-up and basically stopped checking into this forum regularly. Pretty much what I did, something like 8, 10 months without checking in. I just came back to see whats new.

But anyway, if you got what you need and want then thats it. The hunt is over, who cares what others think? Remember this forum is to help people find what they need or maybe something more, and to talk about vaping. There is nothing wrong about tootlepuffing, in fact, I use a mid sized ego with a Nautilus Mini 40 hours a week and I'm as happy as can be.

I know this is often seen as a general rule, but there are exceptions. I use the MTL technique exclusively cause I never really learned how to totally lung inhale a ciggy. I find it produces allot of flavor, and usually run 30 watts or above so that the vapor is thick and juicy. I guess I am really, a sinus vapor, ha-ha. Master of the snork, LOL. OK, My label is SNORKER, tee he.

I also used to also think that way crxess but in the end vapers are people too and people look for community. Since there have been threads for Tooltle Puffers, WompRats and cloud chasers on ECF I've noticed this place has calmed down a bit. There isn't as much friction anymore between people who prefer different styles of vaping.

So for now I think it's been a good thing and as long as the sub-groups don't start getting on each others case it will continue that way. Time will tell, but it's looking good so far :)

I agree. No one is upsetting the cloud chasers. The tootlers are happily tootling. The rest of us became modwompers and are no longer unclaimed. Some of us enjoy more than one group.

Or, at least, there's less hostility than there was.

My priority is not smoking cigs, but that doesn't catagorize me. I have little interest in clouds, but, I do like flavor.

I seem most comfortable in the .7 to 1.1 ohms and 15 - 25 watts.

As I understand from the thread, I am a "tootle-womper". Mostly tootle thiugh. I do experiment, but usually only once/twice a week.

In other news, I started at 36mg. I just placed an order for 3mg. :)
