Because eventually the sale of nic juice will be banned or ridiculously regulated and I don't want to be left out in the cold with an addiction that gets me smoking again.
There is over 30 years worth of data on nicotine use via snus in Sweden.I just want a legit website on a legit study of Nicotine.
The only thing close that I can find is that Brown university study that started back in the 90s
And it is mostly on Tobacco. .
I think you guys & Girls taking me the wrong way. I am not bashing Nicotine I just want to see the truth.
Nicotine and Smoking go together, Nicotine and Vaping not so much.
I mean how many smokers you know smoke nicotine free analogs?
Now Vaping, (which I have no plans to stop nor have any plans to go 0mg any time soon),
the individual has the choice on how much if any Nicotine they have.
And choice, that is something I never had before.
People say the CDC and the FDA lies, well that's their choice, and they always will get caught if they do.
I just would like to see and know the truth. I don't care about Nicotine in analogs, chew, or potatoes,
I just want to know the facts on Nicotine in Vaping,
so when someone new ask me I know what I tell them is the truth.
I sometimes think ECF should be divided into two forums--one for those of us who enjoy vaping and appreciate the use of nicotine, and another for those who detest and fear its use. The second group would then be free to lobby the FDA to completely ban nic in vape liquids. For myself, I plan to continue to use demon nicotine as I vape since I recognize the positive effects it has on me.
Trust them? No, not just no but hell no.

That is a good reason. All the others still seem up for debate.

Try doing some research before touting the CDC as the source of non-biased information. This is just one of several sources on the how the CDC lied and misrepresented their own survey:

Harmless Nicotine
Yea it's so harmless that the CDC set up a Emergency Response plan
CDC - The Emergency Response Safety and Health Database: Systemic Agent: NICOTINE - NIOSH
Make sure you scroll down to the Signs/Symptoms part, That's some good reading there.
I think I would listen to the CDC over Yahoo but that's just me![]()

Why does it need to be either or. Nicotine has some beneficial effects, it is most likely not dangerous in the amounts we get into our bodies through vaping, but in pretending that it is completely harmless one is just fooling oneself. Claiming that it is completely harmless is worse, it's irresponsible. Even water will kill in large enough doses, but nicotine will kill in far smaller doses and there is good reason to take care with the liquids we use (not ingesting them, leaving them accessible to children and pets, offering them as drinks to inebriated friends). That doesn't mean that I think that nic should be regulated any more than other highly toxic substances such as those used for cleaning, but we shouldn't deny the potential dangers either. Everything in moderation, as I wrote earlier, and a moderate stance on this issue seems rational as well.
