Guess I should also mention there are artificial throat hit additives out there for juice as well to cover that aspect of it.

I'd be really grateful if you could provide some info on such additives. Want to lower my nic intake but didn't think anything could simulate the TH well enough.

FlavourArt - Flash in a 12ml plastic dropper bottle for your mixing convenience.

We are glad to announce our latest development for nicotine free e liquid designed to mimic the nicotine hit.

With valuable feedback received for our previous 0 nicotine liquid, we reworked the formula making it milder and rounder.

These are concentrated flavourings!

Not to be vaped alone.

To be mixed with a base of Vegetable Glycerine / Propylene Glycol (in proper proportions).

Appropriate for use in DIY e-liquid experiments.

This is the one I use, but it's not the only one out there, Just do a search for "FlavourArt - Flash" will bring up lots of places that sell it.

Don't add to much of this stuff it really works

This is a herbal kind from the UK... http://eliquid4u.co.uk/20ml-Herbal-ELiquid-zero-nicotine-nice-throat-hit

I suppose the more vapour one wants the less nicotine should be used. Isn't it the case that a lot of vapers are looking for a device that can produce very large clouds of vapour. True not everybody wants that, but i keep reading threads about people that want to know how to get these giant clouds.

As it is at the moment i just use a pretty standard mod and a couple of spinners with Protanks and an AGA T. None of this hardware can produce massive amounts of vapour so i'm happy using 3.6mg nicotine e liquids. But i do realise, for example, if i were to start using an RDA, microcoils etc, then i would absolutely have to lower my nicotine level quite significantly. The massively high levels of nicotine i'd be consuming vaping 3.6mg in an RDA couldn't be compared to the levels of nicotine in any tobacco product. I'd probably reduce the nicotine levels in my e liquids to something like 6mg for use in an RDA. Otherwise, i'd probably have a heart attack !.

With me I find that my body forces me to drop nic. I just stepped down from 12 all day to 8 in the afternoon because my heart really started to race. This is what's been happening since I started at 24

Same exact experience here with it too, from 24 down to 11 to 8 mg when I need nic

Stangely, that's exactly why i like high nicotine e liquids. Don't try this at home folks !

I went from 36 mg to 2 mg and found vaping a high PG with menthol "simulated" TH. Also using a low ohms/ high voltage head on a top coil clearo helped= warmer/ harsher vape. As for TH additives years ago Vets here at ECF tried a variety of TH enhancers and found they were mostly throat irritants. Over a year ago myself and friends tried a bunch of diff TH enhancers- we gave them a 100% thumbs down.

Sorry to hear that, Guess they've done some reworking since then, I like the flash alot, I vape 100% VG as PG irritates my throat and gives me headaches.

If it works for you that's great and eventually I found a work around. We tried it/ Flavor Art Flash with zero Nic and it didn't help BUT also tried it with 6 mg juice and found it did increase TH.
Here's the review that led us to trying the juice- quite favorable with 6 mg juice.
Just very glad you found something to replace the PG- lottsa vapers have issues with PG.

Except they don't come close to duplicating the throat hit from nicotine. Burning and irritating, yes. Throat hit like nicotine provides - no. If they worked that well, it would be plastered on every vaping site across the world and everyone would be using them.

To me, they're more irritants than anything.

Caridwen knows of what she types. They can't come close to matching the TH from nicotine. It's why so few people use them and they are not well known. Now if you like burning and irritation in the throat, they may work for you.

For those who want some type of throat sensation without the burning and can't handle average nic levels such as 16mg, I suggest trying some menthol. No burning but does give a throat sensation. Not like nic but not irritating either.

Hello, I am new to this site and can not wait to chat with everyone. I feel that many people use the E-Cigg/Vaporing for many different reasons all of them valid an personal to each person. Some are using it as a subsitue for ciggretts, others in combination with regular ciggretts, some simply to enjoy the flavor of a 0 nicotine e-juice. If someone is looking to stop smoking such as my self, I’m starting with the 24mg and plan to decrease gradually until I’m able to vape 0 nicotine. From there I will decide if I Want to continue vaping with flavors and no nicotine, or just put it down all together. I think its great that they have different levels. Also some great ideas reading though this post I never thought to get a lower does of my fav e juice because I vape on that more than normal sometimes just for the flavor. J thanks for the great idea.

I'm responding after reading this post and haven't seen if my question was addressed already, but you say you vape "3.6mg"? That is WAY less nic than 6mg!!!! Did you mean 3.6%? That might be more on target with what you are saying about not wanting to use high nicotine in an RBA. Most people would put it as "36mg"...and that IS high. But there are those who do use nic that high.

some shops list it as 3.6mg others list it as 36mg... Not sure why

this^^

as well as with rebuildables, the more efficent systems sem to make "standard range" a little overpowering. in my one atty i cannot use too high a nic without getting a headache but the flavor is so awesome i want to chain vape it so i use lower nic.

Pretty much nailed it and I'm also on a slow weening process. Started 7mo ago at 18 and now depending on what equipment I'm using its either 6 or 3. My all day vape is out of a K101 with an igo-W dual coil at .3-.5ohm (love my mnke batts)
