I already knew that once I could indulge myself indoors, I was going to do it chain-style -- I chain smoked before being banished outdoors. So it's entirely reasonable that both 18mg and 12mg made me horribly nauseous; I fixed that by going all the way down to 6mg, and bam, no nausea. Now, I mix my e-juice to 8 or 9 mg, but I still chain-vape, with no ill effects other than a scorched taste if I don't prime the wick between hits. Although since receiving my silica wick, I don't even have much of that problem; cotton wicks get that nastiest taste if they're the LEAST little bit scorched.

It's not necessary to stop chain-vaping if that's your preference, but it *is* necessary to go a little easier on the nicotine level if you're going to do that.

PS: Was just remembering... once for xmas, my son, then about 11 or 12 yrs old, gave me a bumpersticker that reads "Kiss my chainsmoking ..."... I never put it on the car, but maybe I'll get busy with a permament marker and change the "chainsmoking" to "chainvaping"... :D

I chain vape a lot and found that at first I had the dizzy sick feeling . So I cut down from 24 to 18 to 12 to 6mg to enable me an all day vape..so much better now and even though I don't chain vape as much as I did before I still remain at 6-12mg nicotine ...and Cig free.

I'm going to lower my nic dose so I can chain vape without feeling like crap.

It may seem obvious to you and others, but apparently it wasn't obvious to myself. I never knew one could OD via nicotine until I started feeling these symptoms. Although I did learn my lesson to not chain vape with high doses (although I haven't tried chaining vaping with low doses yet). Speak for one, not for all.

omg - no - you have missed the point ENTIRELY.

it's not the effect of nicotine that is obvious; of course i knew nothing about that either.

what's obvious is - that one should be learning about that FIRST - before you BEGIN vaping. The problems you had were due to your own lack of attention. Not to the vaping or the nicotine.

you just jumped into the activity without any preparation and without learning anything about it - and then you blame the activity for the issues you had. No - it's not the vaping's fault or the nicotine's fault or the juice's fault -- it was your OWN lack of attention that caused your problems - not the activity.

In my head at the time, I never even thought nicotine could give any side negative effects, I'm sure I'm not the first and won't be the last being a newbie.

i find it difficult to imagine you didn’t feel any of these side effects while smoking or chain smoking ever in your life.

I thought the side effects were from the 1000's of chemicals, not the nicotine. I thought the nicotine was there souly make you addicted (not knowing it gave off negative effects).

It was because I vaped too much at a high dosage without knowing that it gave bad side effects is what I mean.

It sounds like you and him have a high nic tolerance, but not everyone does.

those thousands of chemicals are what creates most, if not all of the addiction. you must learn, grasshopper. learn it well. then come back to have a civil discussion for which you are then prepared to learn more.

too much of anything has negative effects. it's the dose that makes the poison. without water, we die. submerge in it for over 5 minutes and we die...

i KNOW what you mean. that is not the point. the reason you had bad side effects is because you started vaping WITHOUT DOING ANY RESEARCH FIRST.

as someone originally said, and which i quoted - Paying attention is the key.

and that is the WHOLE point -- If you had paid attention and learned about it before you started, you would have KNOWN not to do that.

sheesh. am i talking to a brick wall here or what?

I've learned that vaping too much e-liquid at a high dose is not good for me.
Can you send me a link to the research on the addictive chemicals in analogues? You've got me interested now.

Wouldn't that be obvious MissBlue that I didn't do research first? Who would want to have the bad side effects intentionally?
Even if I did do research and chained vape the same amount at the same dose on that very day, very moment, very second, I would still feel the bad effects. So research or not, it was because I vaped too much at too high of a dose.

I can see from your analog smoke free sig that you have only avoided 21 cigs in nearly 3 days, so you started on too high of nicotine liquid and should of cheeked this before hand. I smoked 20 plus a day and its advised 18mg to 24mg for a pack a day smoker but no way you should of if you only smoked 10 a day. if you had of asked here many would of advised a far lower nicotine juice from 12mg down. can I ask who told to go so high?

I vape 10-12ml a day at 6mg. I was a 2 pak smoker before i quit a year ago..i just love vaping/smoking its more of a physical addiction to inhaling/exhaling vapor and or smoke. I domt have any side effects now at 6mg. Constany headaches when i vaped 18mg, learned my lesson. 0mg is next step down.

When I went into my local vape shop they only sell 18mg nothing higher, nothing less. (I live in a very small town so there's no other shops around.) I had no choice on which dose and took what they sold me.
