Would have been easier too to try running a single micro in the dripper vs dual in the genny since hes new to this. Oh well at least now he will get it figured out and be running sweet set up once he does

Seems they are both nice and bright .Hard to tell maybe emus can tell better than I can . Pic when not firing if you can Seems like one might be bigger than the other .Itrs hard to tell though .

Are you testing the coils ? What ohm are both of them?

You could just run single tight micro coil with cotton wick if this dual set up doesnt work out well after wicking.

bolth the same amount of wraps the tweezers i am using are garbage i cant find the good ones so i think one is a little tighter than the other

With top cap on can you see both coils thru air holes when firing?

yes i built on a tester there running at 2.0 ohms and i only tested with both coils im not going to lie the center post for the hot is the hardest thing ive seen trying to hook up 2 coils


and yea i can see both coils burning

Everybody needs at least one dual and one single anyway. Maybe a quad and octagon too.

Well you can try wicking and see if the flavor improves .May not be perfect but wasnt for me first time I set up a RBA If they are both metering the same might be worth a shot to finish and see how it vapes .

Ill let emus help you on wicking it He might have more ideas to help you before you wick too .

Next time you may wan't to make dual out of one strand. Then center post only has to clamp one wire. Very sturdy.

I made quad from single strand (reference MC vapes and vape happy); I've been using that build for weeks now and it still vapes like new.

Your welcome buddy.Like I said I have only run single micros on BF attys and RDAs not on gennys yet so dont want to give advice that isnt correct on set up or wicking.

Ill be running micros for first time in genny soon so maybe Ill be coming to you for some help with duals once you get it down ! Good luck

@ vash i hope lol and thanks again for everything and @emus ive been there seems like everytime i get paid im buying something new i got 5 people were i work at that are using apvs now and stopped smoking should i try wicking it now ? i really want to get this right because i like the concept of rba's just hard to get it up and going guess its the noob in me

I used to assume micro coil was those tiny little coils on the inside of the disposable atomizers that go in clearomisers.
So now I am confused about what is standard coils and micro coils; I have a funny feeling there isn't a sharp line between the two either!


So what's a microcoil and a standard coil.

I'm thinking it must depend on the gauge of kanthal.

i thought it had to with wraps a standard coil goes with a 4/5 wrap 3/4 wrap spread apart where as a micro coil has double the wraps and is touching same gauge wire and the end result will be the same ohm coil

i dont know whats going on its wicked and i still get a weird taste its smoking a thousand times better but the taste is still there no where near as strong as before though
