No issues with FW 3.0 for me, in fact it's a significant upgrade. You essentially get another TC profile that you can switch out attys, even when they're not cold. For example, I have SS on a Velocity rda and a Aromamizer RDTA on the M and SS profiles, respectively, and I can switch them out even when warm.

As another data point, I'm using 316L SS dual coils, and TCR of 125 nearly matches the SS profile. Whether it's because of the mod or because of the SS I'm using, 92 was far too low for me.

so far 3.0 is working great for me, no issues.....usb charging and all.

edit: batteries read withing .02 of each other, well within the allowable variance for balance.

Ver 3 firmware has just increased my like for this mod it's given me the ability to dial my vape in to perfection and apart from one of mine which is still wrapped in it's box all of them on ver 3. Not had a single issue so far from updating so if you were worrying about updating don't just update it's very easy and worthwhile.

anyone else having issues on 3.0?

cause ive read not to do the update
because of yadah yadah yadah..
not sure it generally said not tc not working

which i got mine working just fine even on default profiles

I only watch his reviews with the sound off

3.0 is working ok for most and having seen his warning on facebook not to use the firmware

He has dropped even further in my ratings

You gotta have the sound on or you will miss the next stupid mistake he makes. Makes me laugh! He owns up to them though so I'll give him that! Haven't seen this recommendation though.

Yep I have issues. It does not read resistance correctly I have a .26 coil and no matter what I do it reads it at .30 if it wasn't for that I would have to be running it at 530F to get a decent vape but since it is I only have to run it at 480F which is still too high. It doesn't make any difference which atty I put in still .30 they are all built the same and I know what the resistance really is. If I change to manual TCR it reads it at .29 ame coil and will not change from there I can put TCR375 in and get a good vape at 470F still way to high. My VTCminis with TCR set to 370 vape good at 430 and read the attys at .28 but still closer.

I could probably crank the TCR up to 385+ and get the right temp but I just change it by turning the temp up. I think they still have a way to go for Ti. And the resistance thing I can't figure out unless it is something with that stupid 510 pin which does not act like aa spring loaded 510 to me at least none of the ones I have used before. Very little movement. I started using the washer thingys because my STM's push it down so far I have a heck of a time getting it to come up again.

Mine is working ok, update I mean. Though I lost setting after changing batteries of which are all reading good, has the update effected the way in which to change wattage settings mine reset to 200w after upgrade I can't remember the process to change.
Otherwise all is good no problems at all, hats off to WizMec for the upgrades.

Click fire 4 times on a TC mode to adjust the wattage.

based on your post bro,myour having issue with the 510?
in which case might attribute to the reading being off?

After I checked the batteries mine dropped to .29. My minis dropped also one to .26 and I am having to use 470F now with TCR set to 370 Ti is 366. They are all off some but can be worked around.

Battery voltage 3.97 3.98 3.99 so all good in that department.
Uwell Crown pre-built head .15 Ni at this time reading .16 after two + weeks, 520f drops to 349 on firing great vape for me just warm I hate hot.
510 no problems I can un-screw head 1/2 way and still make contact, at that stage I get the old or new atomizer message.
Yeah I am happy with my two.

It's ugly, but is an upgrade over the "white" RX200 underneath IMO.

Damn, I'm finding it hard to get over the Aqua/white! My black RX200 is much cooler looking IMO!

Well as far as I'm concerned thes Jtech chips work ok if you work with them but they are far from accurate. I can put the same atty on my SXM and perfect. Jtech might be ok at 510 or 530 or whatever it takes not even close to what they really are.
