Anyone like my $3.00 cover?

It's ugly, but is an upgrade over the "white" RX200 underneath IMO.:D

Damn, I'm finding it hard to get over the Aqua/white! My black RX200 is much cooler looking IMO!
Agree. Don't want to use white Rustoleum spray paint from Home Depot on mine when it arrives, but when I find something more suitable, those panels will definitely get a makeover!

I was going to swap the blue/green front and battery covers for the black as that does look pretty cool. Unfortunately taking the RX200 apart isn't super easy and I'm not sure I want to bother. I watched a video and it is definately doable, but there are too many tiny things inside that I could inadvertently screw up.

Just switching the battery covers between the two just doesn't cut it though.

I really don't care as it is a mod, not a car, but if I did it again I would go with 2 of the black models.

4 screws at bottom of battery sled hold on front panel. Very easy to remove. So long as you remember where the buttons go it is dead simple. When you reinstall it bring the mod down on top of it rather than trying to flip the panel over so the buttons don't fall out and you wont have a problem.

From the Cuboid thread, but reposting here if anyone is interested.
I got mine for $35 from VapeNW. $35?! for 200 Watts?! And TCR?! Craziness. Plus, it's a good mod.
Vapenw is a great way to go when you are spending more than $75 to get the free shipping and with Cuboid @ $35.99 & RX200 @ 39.95 as well it just puts you over the free shipping threshold - Quick ship - 2 great mods - Tough to beat those prices! Sorry I already ordered both from china!

3.0 working fine. Only use TC on NI200 with my crown but the big difference I noticed is the battery voltage reading more accurately than previously. It is reading almost the exact same as my charger now which was very very close to what the cells were reading individually when tested with my meters.

Got my three 6ml Aromamizers between Black Friday and a later christmas sale for 23.99 or less ea. I'll pass at 29.99ea at this point.
With 3 i would certainly hope so. [emoji16]

Every place i've seen with them were at $40-50 so its still a deal

Should TCR be adjusted so that cotton will burn in 420F/215C?
Should that be the starting point to a working TC?

I´ve read posts past few days that people adjust the TCR way offset from the wires TCR value and I guess that is a must to get it working right.

I am using 317SS wire and with TCR value 94 I can´t get a decent vape.
Yesterday I tested with an old dripper deck at 215C and cotton was burning and then with an other atty the cotton doesn´t burn and I can´t get a good vape unless I change the temp to very high value.

I guess it is depends of the atty which is attached and TCR should be adjusted for the atty and setup you use?
Do people do this to get it TC working as it should?

I haven't a clue of what the TCR should be for my Aspire 0.4 coils in a Triton tank. They are some sort of SS. And since I don't have a calibrated mod, I don't care. I only care if the cotton burns, I get an off-color flavor on a dry coil, or the TempProtection(TP) comes on too soon. That is how I set my RX200. The Triton tank can be made to go into a dry coil state by putting it in fill mode for testing. I found I can use a TCR of 121-125 before I get an off-color flavor @25-40W-450F. That leaves TP. As I move from 125 down to 121, TP comes on after 5 sec. That is double my sucking time according to the timer display. I love this RX200 for ease of tweaking.

The TCR should be 94,anything other than that you are defeating the purpose of temp control and might as well be using it in power mode.
This firmware upgrade isn't quite right, something is screwd up in it.

I understand but the fact that cotton does not even go slightly brown with the temp it should burn does not seem right.

May be a bad connection/atty or something.

I guess I´ll change the TCR to a point cotton burns at 420F and see how it works.
