Does anyone know if Wismec is going to release another updated version of the RX200?
Been thinking of buying one and don't know if I should wait for a newer one.
Thanks.
Don't know for sure but I got two of the RX200's for $49 ea...cheap enough to enjoy them now (they kick ....) and buy a couple more if they upgrade..hard to beat as is now...

Lots of bad comments on rx's about poor TC and stuff. Couple of them burned heavily because of unpaired batteries, so make sure you all do your research about those things before you buy one. I will buy dna very soon, for now i only had bad experience with joyetech devices. Im not a fan of anyone nore im trying to promote anyone, just saying be careful, if 3 batteries cach on fire, that thing can burn as hell...

Burning because of unpaired batteries is not the mods fault, it is ignorant and/or uninformed user fault.

I've seen one such story....info still not released, but looking like user error...
As to poor TC.....I temp probed the mod after updating firmware in Ti mode, and got the most accurate readings of any tc mod to date. You may need to check your info source for accuracy ;)

The only such video i saw (reposted many times) the mod was set in celsius and if you do the conversion was set ABOVE the burn point of cotton. If you know of other videos, post them. Then the question woyld be whether or not the mod in the video had been updates or not...I'm guessing not.

Speaking of updates, I've heard rumor that they will be releasing an update that will give a user adjustable tcr!

That was Dirk Oberhaus' video. The cotton really shouldn't have burnt at the temperature he used. However, that was with the 1.03 firmware. He retested with the 1.07 firmware and tc worked perfectly.

Great and fast response by Wismec. Really looking forward to the mod, should get it next week.

TC is bloody excellent on this device in fairness, found TC in the Evic VT's to be decent too.
I'd thoroughly recommend this device based on my experience with it so far...

The thermal incidents have been caused by folks who haven't got a clue.

I was being ironic!
The V2 announcement will probably be at least six weeks.
I figured you were joking around with a touch of sarcasm added. Manufacturers really seem to be pumping out new models (version 27 anyone) at an ever increasing pace. EX: IPV D2, D3 months later. IPV4, seems like weeks later 4S. Same with atomizers, change them what seems like on a monthly basis.

Cheers,
Steve

A few folks have posted that their RX200 TC doesn't work AT ALL. No idea if they are all user error issues, but lately it has came up.

I personally am still a couple of weeks away from my RX200 arriving from Fasttech.

Man, even if TC is indeed screwy with these, I could likely be happy using wattage mode only for the $45 I spent on the mod.
