Dna200 customizable software. 3 x 18650 so battery life is amazing. Charges via usb. Hits really hard. Good looking. Fits in hand amazing

The RX200 has all of that was except the customizable software. Care to try again?

I like the DNA200 board as much as the next guy, but there is nothing wrong with the RX200 board. I have three other DNA200 devices that haven't been touched in over a week since getting my RX200.

It's all just personal preference, but I don't think I'd consider the DNA200 version of this mod "so much better". With the screen ribbon issue on the reuleaux DNA200, I'd say it's actually worse from a design / QC aspect.

After the drama i and others had with the VTC Mini, in tc mode, im not going anywhere near a board made by JoyeTech...id rather take my chances with evolv's dna200, even their failure rates are better than the dodginess and non-customer service experienced with JoyeTech

Of course if youre a "look, my mod can 200w" person thats probably not going to matter to you

But yeah, for me, JoyeTech board, no thanks

So all for dna 200 vs joyetech like this lol

I'm not mad. I like both boards, but they are entirely different animals. A DNA200 board itself is $45 more than the entire RX200 mod, I don't see a point in comparing them.

I can't stand a screen like the rx200. I don't know why. I hate it. I spent the extra money for the screen and the board. Plus the customization you can do with the dna, that you can't with the rx. I'm sure the rx is a nice mod too. But not AS nice as the dna. It's cheaper for a reason, and the reason is that Joyetech chip.

Lol, dont get me wrong Evolv's boards can and do have issues...for instance my first Evolv based mod, a DNA40 mod, lasted a month before dying, and the replacement board they sent (actually they sent two, becaase the first one went missing i the mail, but they just sent another one without any hesitation or drama) never worked, but at least i actually got more usable vape time out of that, than i did the JoyeTech VTC Mini....

With JoyeTech if you have an issue, youre likely to get ignored for weeks on end, have your technical questions answered by the JoyeTech marketing department whos only advice to any mod is issue is to tell you to "buy an Ego One tank", and weeks after that, and after more hammering away at them you get then sent strange customised firmware that oddly seems to try to correct the exact numeric resistance drops you personally report, which are particular to you (and wont benefit anyone else), and youre told you cant talk about this "beta" firmware to anyone - im not the only one this happened to after weeks of hammering away at JoyeTech. I also outed their "you cant share or talk about the "beta" firmware email and firmware to pbusardo, who i happened to be talking to at the exact time the fishy JoyeTech email arrived, just so someone else knew the underhanded way the issues were being dealt with...under cover of darkness and with request "not to share the firmware or talk to anyone about it".

Evolv over JoyeTech any day, they will at least answer emails from day one (and your emails wont be rerouted to the Marketing Dept whos only answer to anything is to "Buy one of our tanks" whenever one of their mods plays up), no weeks of being ignored, and they will replace parts

No I don't own either but I'm in the market for a new one that's why I want peoples opinion on why it's so much better than the standard rx200
Really it's not. If you're just interested in vaping SS, kanthal, ni200, or Ti, and don't care about customizable screens, or fancy preheat options, then the RX200 is great.

It's dead simple to use, everything for TC can be done directly on the mod, unlike the DNA200 version which is extremely limited until you plug it into a PC and use escribe.

Is the DNA200 board nicer? Sure, but is it $100 nicer? IMO, no.

I really like all my DNA200 mods, but actually vaping on the RX200, and DNA200 with the same atty side by side in, there is little difference.

Some quick searches will show you that evolv doesn't have a better failure rate then joyetech. I bought a dna200 for the ability to use any wire type, full stop. Well, dna stopped working after a weeks use (still waiting for a replacement). Once the adjustable tcr update comes out, the rx200 will be just as versatile in wire usage, and ive never personally had a joyetech board stop working. I was an early adopter on the evic vt, so i have one that isnt accurate temp wise, but it still works perfect. The rx200 on ver. 1.07 already exceeds any mod ive tested in temp accuracy in Ti mode. So while some people will prefer the "customize ability" of the dna and enjoy tinkering, so much better is purely subjective. Some will much prefer the plug and play with similar output ability of the rx200.

Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping.

The RX200 is a perfectly good mod and for the money it's hard to beat but horses for courses if you prefer the dna200 all good go to one of the many threads on it and contribute something there. There are thousands of satisfied RX200 owners and more everyday, I originally bought mine to find out if the form factor was going to work for me with the intention of getting the dna200 version if I got on with it. Thanks to a friend I had the chance to use the dna200 version for a weekend and it was nice but the amount of messing about running this analyser and that test bored me quite quick and to be honest didn't result in an overly improved vape from when I first got it. As far as screen goes it displays the relevent information is nice and bright and easy to read out and about, no you can't do customised logo's but then I don't want too and not sure I understand the appeal but as I said horses for courses.

I'll be buying 3 more RX200's for my vape stockpile because its been rock solid since I've had it and does everything I need from a vape device and it's as simple as me so a perfect match. It will be joined by an ml class sx mini and a few aromamizer tanks and then my gear stockpiling is done. I get it some of you had a bad time with a joyetech device and maybe joyetech didn't deal with it properly but coming into a thread on a device you don't own or have any intention of owning and talking that mod down seems a bit petty to me. Not like I'm in every evolve thread talking about the utter nightmare I had with the dna40 and how crap it was dealt with by evolve because time and things move on.

In this case though you'd be dealing with the same manufacturer whichever board you'd choose to go with. You could, of course, deal directly with Evolv if you choose the DNA 200 but you'd likely have to remove and reinstall the board yourself.
