Yes you're right Kate but Parked was the only one I saw who had said anything definite about the battery life. Just wanted some confirmation of what I should be expecting before I started emailing Harry.

Edit - Unless I'm very unlucky I don't think it can be the charger. One spent the night plugged into the mains and the other was the on the USB. Maybe it's the atomiser?

I found the USB did not fully charge the battery, make sure to get em both on the real charger. JMHO

Are any of those who have the Dura getting the same battery life as Parked reported in his videos? I'm only getting 50 minutes from each of mine.

I am definitely getting a lot more than 50 mins with my batteries. Havent timed it precisely, but to give an example, I started with 2 fresh batteries this morning, and the second battery is still going strong. I am at work and its close to the end of the day and I have taken quite a few long smoking breaks all day :)

I keep the batteries charging all night, dont know if that helps.

Hi im having the same problem . Tried it on mains charger and usb charger given them both a 12 hour charge and only lasting under a hour. The atomiser seems to get quite hot too but not getting a lot of vapour nor much of a throat hit with a bit of juice in the mouth ( So back on my super e cig for a while till this is sorted ) Emailed them early morning so hope for a reply soon.:cry::cry::cry:

I have had my dura for 3 days now, it rocks. Had a scare today though, had fully charged battery and full cart topped off, put it in my inside coat pocket, and went snowmobiling with a buddie of mine. Bout 9 degrees out today, sunny not much wind. We stopped for smoke break, and I pulled out my dura and it was dead.. :( I had to bum an analog from my buddie and it was the first one in 18 days! I know this isnt Janty's fault, but the nature of li-on. Im hoping with the lithium that the SD uses I may fare better with that for sled trips.. Charged the battery for 4 hours, its working fine so far, whew... Still happy with it, and Jeff still rocks.. :D

I emailed Harry about this last week reporting it as a fault and asking what they thought was wrong. He got back to me today with an unexpected response:

"I asked Ludo, he said, because the batteries are very small they won't last for long, but they are also charged very fast. The Fogger battery should last for about half an hour and the Dura between 45 minutes and an hour."

So it appears that the official Janty line is that these things should be giving slightly more battery life than the fogger. I've asked them if they can explain why there seems to be such a massive difference in battery life being reported but it doesn't look like they will be accepting this is a fault. I'll probably be returning mine if this proves to be the case as it certainly hasn't blown my DSE away as their website claims. It's a shame, I had high hopes for it.

If Janty is officially saying 45 to 60 min. of battery life, then my motivation for getting a Dura just dropped about 90%. Sounds like they need to get cracking on a USB pass through!!

Hmmm ....I was told 3-4 hours was the average for the battery life on the Dura by Jeff at Janty USA. I've been getting 2 1/2 hours hours and I do see a difference between the wall charger and the USB charger. The Dura is replacing my KB extended that never seemed to deliver consistently.

USB Pass through would be nice.

Very disappointing to here. I was about to try the Dura as my next e-cig because you need batteries some of the time (looks a little silly with the passthough when you are out and about)--glad I read these posts--Thanks for the feedback!
