Looks like the they are essentially the same thing, though if there is a difference it would likely be the placement of the airflow adjustment screw. E.G. the first one may have it on the bottom and the second one definitely has it on the side. As for which one to get...... I dunno. I'm actually not a fan of either because both have air intake holes that are too small for my taste and taking out the adjustment screw entirely just messes with the device's vacuum.

While I'd LOVE to get an authentic Kayfun, my pocketbook just can't stomach two of them. See, my girlfriend also vapes. What I get, she gets lol

Right now we're using MVP2's and Kanger Protank3's. Not a bad setup, but after trying out a local store's RDA, the flavor and cloud was just incredible. Granted, it was a dripper, but still....wow. Thus my curiosity into clones.

Thanks for the replies so far guys!

It is great if you have tapered plastic needle tipped juice bottles and get one without a shoddy fill valve or else don't mind unbuttoning the whole thing to fill it from the top and don't mind a bit of leakage from said faulty fill valve.

I was unaware of the problems but I am LMAO at the way you wrote this!!! Too funny!!!:laugh:

For the record however, my KF clone of choice is the older, less-improved Kayfun Lite (no +). It does not have an adjustable airflow, but once I enlarged and reamed that sucker out a bit, it became quite functionally excellent. My KF+ always whistled and intermittently lost vacuum because I had removed the airflow adjustment screw and my KF 3.1's fill valve broke the first time I tried to fill it. So they both sit in a drawer now as a reminder to my future selves not to be so damnably impulsive when interwebshopping.

Hello,

Out of the two listed I would go with your first listed Kayfun Lite Plus Clone Rebuildable Tank Atomizer Kit | eBay

I prefer the air adjustment on the bottom as I simply remove the plug screw and leave it wide open.
The price is fair but no idea about quality...

I have the EHPro Kayfun Lite + ...excellent quality.
Liked it so much that I decide to get another kayfun lite + clone...

so I got the Tobecco Kayfun Lite + (silver box one) and the build quality was disappointing.
Rough top cap where drip tip goes, shallow juice channels (had to dremel them out and still need more), no allen wrench included for air adjustment, and just seemed lesser quality. But the air flow is better then the EHPro, both with adjustment plug taken out.

Every thing i was reading said the silver box was good but mine wasn't. So it goes with the clones...
Good luck.

Well here's an update for all those kind enough to help me.

I ended up purchasing Kayfun Lite Clone Rebuildable Atomizer RBA Adjustable Air Hole | eBay

Build quality is pretty darn nice, right up there with my Protank3. It came with 3 silica wicks & wires, which measured 2.0 ohm on my MVP. So I tried one.

Yuck. The wick wasn't working properly, and the coil hardly produced any vapor. So I chalked it up to my newb-ness and went to get some 30awg Kanthal & cotton balls.

Rebuilt the coil, unfortunately it measured 2.5ohms, but with the cotton wick pre-soaked and running 9.0W on the MVP this vape is pretty darn good!

I'm getting some gurgling, but I think that's because the coil height is too low maybe? Either way the wick is perfect, tons of vapor & flavor.

My ONLY gripe with the unit is the whistle from the air hole. It's annoying as hell, and I may just take a drill bit to it this evening lol

Anyway, thanks for all the help folks!

Way to go FattyMcJ. I pulled the trigger and bought a EhPro Kayfun Light and love it! I know what everyone means about the whistle!!! Still, it vapes great and it was a thrill building my first coil. (took me an hour!!!) Only gurgling I got is when I first filled it from the top. I only fill from the bottom now and haven't had any gurgling since.

I broke my ohm meter and didn't have a mod that would show coil ohms so put down the Kayfun for a week. I hated that!! Got my new ohm meter and also some flat ribbon Kanthal. Made a nice 1.1 ohm coil and now vaping strong again!!! Using the Kayfun on a Smok Chrome epipe with an 18350 battery. Works great!! Love it. This is my second most favorite pipe. My first favorite is A King epipe with a Hypertank and an 8" churchwarden.
