One of the things I missed about smoking when I started vaping was the smell of the fresh smoke. I could see the vapor but it lacked the smell ( that after a year I still have to admit I enjoy and miss a bit). If our vapes suddenly became cloudless I would miss seeing the cloud but not enough to stop vaping. I would adjust as long as the other options in vaping went untouched.

do you think the bans would have been placed if no vapor was seen?

Of course they would.

It all comes down to MONEY.

The settlement with Big Tobacco where the states gey money from big tobacco for the number of people SMOKING. The states were promised billions in the settlement, and instead of setting that money aside for its purpose they SPENT it on things liberals thought they should invest in.

Vaping come along helping people get off the cancer sticks so the money from big tobacco has gone down and you have iduot state governments like California, New York Washington, New jersey that are facing $billions of short falls because they killed the goose that laid the golden eggs. They taxed the rich and taxed the rich until the rich moved out of the state

The infrastructure in America is falling apart for the same reasons. They squandered the fuel tax on ideas instead of using it on the roads, bridges, etc.

The stupid liberals to keep you from knowing the truth about the defecit raided the p
Social Security, Social Security Disability, Rail road pension. To cover up the short falls as much as they could.

Between the money sources above; add medicaid, medicare, food stamps, wellfare, etc the real debt of America is not the 18-19 trillion but over 210 $trillion.

It will not be too long before Americans did what Greece did just go into the banks, 401K, IRAs, Roth IRAs and confiscates the money they way they robbed Social Security and the Railroad retirement fund.

They tried to raid the Teamsters pension fund and Hoffa told them to poubd sand. This may be why he disappeared.

Definite yes.

The lung feel is what I need. Nicotine is the least addictive part of smoking. Behavioral and physical sensation is the hardest part to give up.

You got it!

It is the habit of smoking that is the addiction.

How many saw kids trying to inhale tobacco smoke. They usually start coughing and stop trying to look cool.

In Mark Twain's Tom Sawyer it gives a perfect example of kids and smoking. They get sick from smoking and have to find their knife because they are sick.

I very much enjoy seeing the vapor. I felt the same way about the smoke from a cigarette...that's why smoking in the dark or with my eyes closed was never very satisfying to me. If there was no visible vapor I probably wouldn't have continued vaping long enough to actually quit smoking, although now that I have, I would probably continue.

I think the fact that vaping resembles smoking has contributed to the current efforts to place bans and restrictions on it, but even if the vapor were to disappear at this point, they've come too far to give up on it now. The ANTZ won't give up on the evils of nicotine and the government won't give up on the potential tax revenue.

So all the people who answered no ... what if you were struck blind tomorrow? You'd quit vaping?

I would just use other NRT stuff or just quit outright.

For me I live the life of any addict. I need nic. If I can have fun getting it then great. But like everyother addict since the dawn of time I'll get my fix by whatever means needed.

Yes....think back to most of us when we were first starting out.

For me the cigalikes produced little vapor, we were just trying to figure out ways to get the cartridges to hold more liquid, modding blue foam and teabags.

Over time a lot succumbed to shinitis, cloud chasing and the biggest mods.

I looked for something with longer battery life. Mostly I'm a tootle puffer who also stealth vapes, my only goal is to replicate the feeling of 'moking.

would you continue or even start vaping if juice produced no visible clouds what so ever?
There still would be all the goodness vaping supplies, the TH the nic, the flavor, the filling sensation in the lungs etc... but no form of any mist, cloud, vapor on exhale...

and do you think Vaping would still be Public Enemy #2 if no cloud was emitted?

just wondering....

Yes, I would if it helped me stop smoking.

And yes, regulations and anti vape propaganda would be exactly the same.
It's all about tax dollars and tobacco payout cash, not your "cloud".

If you want to fight for your right to vape, be sure you are on the right battlefield.

I think I would keep vaping. I used to smoke in the dark a lot and never cared. Although I could always see the lit end of my cigarette.

It would be kind of useful to have vaporless liquid for certain situations, too. Hotel rooms with fire alarms for one. I also left in the dark for an early doctor appt out of town. And took a hit of one of my 60W attys. Lol, I couldn't see through the vapor for a moment. Said, ha ha, that was dumb. Better use something else until it gets lighter out.

the filling sensation in the lungs
What would be filling my lungs? I've tried many times to switch to vaping, once in 2010, once in 2011, and the on and off for the past 2 years. Cigalikes, itastes , pro tanks, drippers etc etc. It wasn't until I got the the combined convenient portability and satisfying cloud of a sub ohm tank that I was able to get off of cigs for any significant amount of time, I haven't smoked one in 61 days. My point is that what was missing from all that tootling that I did was the satisfying filled lung feeling and exhale. This is just my experience.

I disagree. I make my own ejuice and am gradually weaning myself off nicotine.

I have gone down from 18 mg to 2 mg. I am only a few weeks to a month from 1 mg or even 0. I will continue to vape after I get to 0.
