Torrential downpours off and on that whole day. I only had my window open a crack. And man, there's nothing darker than a country road before dawn in a downpour.

 Pitch Black..........Been there around 0 dark thirty a few times.
Owl goes Whoo Whoo and you pray, not me.

Hmmmm... I very likely would never have started vaping if not for the visually satisfying exhale of vapor. Now that I have beaten the nasties and intend to become totally free of nic, with my current confidence in vaping, I believe I'd stay with it.

Perhaps if the cloud had NEVER existed AND the cigalike marketers had never used the 'smoke anywhere' ads we wouldn't be on the most wanted list at all. But our numbers would be so infinitesimally small as to be unnoticed.

I would just use other NRT stuff or just quit outright.

For me I live the life of any addict. I need nic. If I can have fun getting it then great. But like everyother addict since the dawn of time I'll get my fix by whatever means needed.

I disagree. I make my own ejuice and am gradually weaning myself off nicotine.

I have gone down from 18 mg to 2 mg. I am only a few weeks to a month from 1 mg or even 0. I will continue to vape after I get to 0.

How can you possible disagree with what he would do and what his situation is?

I have used that Nicotine inhaler that Ocelot linked and it worked fine, the first 20 -30 puffs feels real good in your throat but that goes away quickly even though the nicotine in it still there but just not as harsh after 30 drags,I used to use it just before going to bed to help me fall asleep.still have a box full of the inserts for those occasions that I just feel like a couple of puffs and not a whole cigarette.

Yes I would, because I enjoy the nicotine.

But, I'm sure I would vape MUCH LESS often.

It is very satisfying to exhale big clouds. And in fact is part of the reason why I vape.

I would likely upgrade my mod less often if there were no visible vapor, no more chasing that perfect inhale and cloud, but maybe I still would buy new gadgets.

Luckily there are visible clouds, thus I will continue to blow them.

Interesting question. I think after 40+ years of smoking I would miss the vapor...but I'm not sure I have to have it. I actually think I could learn to live with a vaporless device if all of the other factors were still there. I started on cig-sized and cartos, so I began in days of less vapor.

But, I have my doubts if this would matter in the public sphere. The politics are being driven by the loss of revenue to BT and BP, as well as tax dollars and campaign contribution. I don't believe that the "clouds" really matter. The "clouds" are like the shiny object that politicians can point to and condemn, but I doubt many of them really care one way or the other.

I agree that they would find something to go after but obnoxious behavior is always an easy target.

On topic: I already Vape low vapor high nicotine. As long as I got a warm Vape with good throat hit I could care less about being a human fog machine.

Without the cloud its just another NRT and there are better ways to handle that.

And since I can pop a lozenge or put on a patch and be anywhere anytime its actually better in that regard.

If the other NRT options were more effective, many of us would have quit tobacco long before vapor. The clouds are fun to some, but its the smoking like sensation of breathing in "something" vs. "nothing" that allows vaping to work for many. I'd still vape without visible clouds if it allowed me to cease smoking just as cloudy vapor has.

what if you were struck blind tomorrow? You'd quit vaping?

I might quit vaping if blind, but for different reasons. I can barely clean and fill and maintain my stuff with good sight without making a mess. Blind coil wrapping and tank filling? What a potential pain that would be.

and instead of setting that money aside for its purpose they SPENT it on things liberals politicians thought they should invest in.

Fixed that for ya. This ain't a political forum, but the fringe right is as bad as the fringe left. Back in the day, we used to get things done because the opposing viewpoint holders actually put out the effort to come together and find the workable compromises on issues.

Now, they abandon creativity and independent thought in exchange for standing across from one another, screeching and slinging poo like two bands of brain damaged primates in a zoo.

So all the people who answered no ... what if you were struck blind tomorrow? You'd quit vaping?

Probably would...Can't see when my tank is empty...can't see when my batteries are low...can't see when my batteries are fully charged... If I was blind for life it might not be that big of a problem, but if I was stuck blind tomorrow, way too much

I think the main problem isn't clouds or flavors or corrupting children or allegedly caring about our health, it's because we are enjoying becoming smoke free. People who smoke aren't people, they are smokers. Smokers are bad, smokers are weak, smokers ruin the health and happiness of everyone around them. They should not be allowed to enjoy quitting. They should suffer. They should pay for their sins.

Well said ...

I have detected this unfortunate attitude even among some close friends who quit "cold turkey", and enjoy some sense of superiority because of their struggle with persistent cravings ...

One guy I know still has the mannerism of clawing at his shirt pocket, over 20 years after he quit smoking. I see no reason to suffer like that, in an age when the technology exists to continue to enjoy nicotine AND improved health. My mental health and happiness are equally important to me ...

To those who would wish me to suffer as they did, I can only pity them for this serious character flaw, but I do not share this sentiment ...

Quitting alcohol 23 years ago, after 25 years of binge drinking, was the hardest thing I have ever done. But I don't preach to my drinking friends, ever. I just refuse to be "that guy" ...

As for the current trend of "vape hysteria" and "smoker shaming", when the victim becomes the perpetrator, that's a sad thing to see ... :(

One of the most important lessons my Dad taught me was never to expose the weak-minded to truths they cannot handle ...

I thoroughly enjoy my mini-clouds at home and in my car, and stealth vape 100 percent PG juice everywhere else with impunity, thus ensuring my own satisfaction, and avoiding the release of conditioned hostility from 50 years of disinformation campaigns ... :sneaky:

would you continue or even start vaping if juice produced no visible clouds what so ever?
There still would be all the goodness vaping supplies, the TH the nic, the flavor, the filling sensation in the lungs etc... but no form of any mist, cloud, vapor on exhale...

and do you think Vaping would still be Public Enemy #2 if no cloud was emitted?

just wondering....

I'd still vape, for the taste maybe and the TH. But please, make it atleast cigarette smoke equivalent!

As long as the feeling they (vapor) were still there then I'd continue. I find myself vaping in bed total darkness and I can feel when a good cloud comes out. Though it is nice to see I think I could do it without the clouds. Might look a bit funny though ....

This morning I sat in an airport with three hours to kill. I vaped for the majority of that time, emitting zero visible vapor. No one cared, because no one even noticed. ( 90% PG, 10% H2O, 10 mg/ml nic ) ;)
