Don't you think more vendors will have WTA in the future? Or do you think it is going to remain a niche market?

I would guess that it would depend om the demographics of smokers. From my experience, I've identified three distinct groups of smokers. A percentage have gotten "addicted" to the habit of smoking, the ritual. They're easily identified once the find an E Cig that they enjoy the flavor of since they can immediately reduce the amount of nicotine the use and are soon very happy to vape zero nic.

Then there's the nicotine segment that, like caffeine drinkers, just have to have their drug of choice. They also fit into the habit group, but once they find an alternative source of nicotine that gives them that hand to mouth behavior, they are off cigarettes with little trouble.

Finally, there are us. The group that has been self medicating for years/decades for an underlying depressive physiology. I read with interest the comments from the Mikes and OH as well as my friends on the other side of the tracks (the snus area) how all have found the alkaloid cocktail provided by tobacco has controlled the savage beast.

The only pharma product that ever kept me off smokes for more than a week or so was Zyban, an anti-depressant which worked great for me until the prescription ran out three months later. Anxiety set in, I fought it for awhile then slowly worked my way back to self medication via cigs. No longer have to.

I recognize that the only thing I've accomplished on my journey is to have broken the NEED for the hand to mouth activity. I broke that after six months of vaping and finding Swedish snus. I still enjoy vaping, but it's more for the incredible flavors. It's more like smoking a pipe or a fine cigar. Now if snus wasn't there, WTA would be much more critical for me.

The answer to your question is the relative size of each of these segments BTW, there is a fourth group- the smoker that will never have any desire to quit and I shall always respect his/her decision.

I am surprised at how cynical I feel on this subject, but I seem to think 'the gubmint' would prefer us to have access to chemotherapy and prescription drugs; a 'my way or the highway' mentality. With that in mind, when the e-cig industry is 'regulated', I expect WTA will be banned.

(I am usually a more positive person than this...not sure if I really believe what I just wrote. I'll think about it, and get back to you. ;))

Crazier things have happened and continue to happen! Look at the new ban that will take affect in Amsterdam at the end of the year...

I am not sure I am in the 3rd group or I am maybe in denial :p I am a generally happy person but after almost 2 years of vaping I have dreams about cigs unless I vape wta. Strange right? I have not smoked since I started vaping. I think WTA has something my body subconsciously craves. Not sure if it is a mood enhancement as much as a relaxant but what ever works for you. :)

Def. not as old as some, 51 soon. :p
I think I fall somewhere between cat. 2 & 3. I recognized the deep depressive spiral 6 months into vaping. Scary as I never thought of myself as battling depression. I didn't care if I lived or died, but had no inclination to do anything to myself. Paralyzed emotionally is a better description.

After reading the something missing threads I took a shot and contacted Ethan. Never did vape it all the time, just a few times daily and that worked or about 2 months. I found I needed it less and less.

If the US extractor could be convinced, maybe there would be another source. Not sure there is a big enough market at this point.

Isn't Amsterdam the place where you can buy that....... funny tobacco.......legally

never mind...... this post will likely get deleted by the powers that be......
Old hippy that I am I couldn't resist

Was, but the laws, they are a changing. You'll need to be a resident in the near future to go into the coffee houses. I have a funny story about my long weekend there, but I know that would get banned. All I'll say is don't rely on the sun to guide you back to your hotel because it can always cloud up and about a half hour walk can become five hours that constantly ends up back in Amsterdam's red light district if you're not totally alert.

This is ridiculous. If e-cigs dont help you stay off analogs then go back to them - they're still there waiting. Lets not add any more crap to e-cigs. We're already lab monkeys with all the flavors we're inhaling.

I'm late back to the thread but gonna have to agree with my buddy rothenbj who said
" Yes, your post is ridiculous ,think about it"!
It seems to me that we as vapers, are doomed to have the least informed {ACS,ALA, govt. etc} trying to make our decisions about what we should be doing with the products we know are less harmful......OY!
Congrats to MikenGA. for reaching his 6 month "vaperversary"!

I'm also glad to see this thread has been revived thanks to many of you!
Kinbaloo I'd love to have you on my vaping show over at TVN when you have the time?
Also I'd love to have a few of you for whom WTA has worked on my show as kind of a roundtable discussion of how and why it worked for you if you guys {mostly} would be interested?

Just an FYI but Ethan at Vapelicious sent an announcement that he finally expects his re-worked website to be up and going in a day or so .... "I will try to have something simple working late tonight or tomorrow, so not much longer!"

The site went up and went down. Here is the link. Maybe it will be be up later in the week. BTW Aroma is up and in stock :p they both have different WTA. I think they are both mad at me :( I need to apologize to Jerry. I am vaping Aromas Clove now and I am not usually as clove ejuice fan but I am really enjoying it. Going to be the 3rd day of vaping it every day. Going to do a review of it later tonight. :)

I am one of those that WTA has really worked for. I vape it a couple of time a day and it helps keep me on a even keel, otherwise I was in shut down mode and couldn't concentrate on anything and was not inclined to do anything, even things I loved to do. I also know I would not have made it to the 5 month mark!

I tried Aroma WTA this morning two hours after I woke, with no other vape prior. I did this to isolate the supposed effect that I felt the night before. All I can say is that I took two long drags and two minutes later I was sooooo very relaxed and chill that I can positively say that this is NO PLACEBO effect!

If WTA will work for you, I think it will mimic the effects that cigs had on you. Smoking did many different things for many different people, for me, it seriously relaxed me down! (I like the way that sounds, "relaxed me down" :) )

His site crashed last night. Ethan said he will be concentrating on filling orders that came in, then back to work fixing the website. He tweeted that he'll likely continue the 10% discount when the site comes back up, as there was a couple days left before the initial discount expired.
