Just a quick update.

I have been using my Grand for almost a week now without any problems. This is a wonderful mod. In fact, I even find my Woodie Reo's are starting to be a tiny bit neglected.:(

To those that are still trying to get one, have patience.

These things are crafted by one guy that has a gift. They are not churned out in a factory, thank goodness.
Robert will sell them when they are ready. Once you have 1 (or more) you will not need anything else. (except more Reo's:2cool:).

Once you hold one and use one, you will understand. These are not made for someone to make a quick buck, these are made to help others enjoy vaping.

They really are worth the wait. Go with the flow and enjoy the community, before, during and after. These are life changing devices.

Robert, you are the best, my friend!

Very, very well put! Thank you!

:?: I have a problem with my REO Grand and I'm not sure what to do about it.

The Grand is so sufficient I find myself forgetting to change the batteries and even forgetting to pump the bottle. Somewhere in my mind I have let go of doing any maintenance at ALL because this REO seems magical.

Last night I noticed a little let down in the flavor and vapor...oh dear, I thought, what's going on, then I remembered, I'm supposed to feed this little beauty. I guess, if this continues I'm going to start thinking it can refill the bottle itself.

Then, it was yesterday sometime I remember thinking, my vapes aren't as powerful, wonder why. Then it was again, oh dear, I need to change the battery.

I have got to find a balance somewhere. :)

Seriously though, I'm getting really spoiled with this smooth running Grand and as I've mentioned before, I've been vaping for 19 months now. I've owned 6 different mod's and never have I had a mod that felt so sufficient that I got the thought somewhere inside that it could take care of itself.

Rob, any chance you can invent a mod that will cook and clean for me?

Hey Guys,

After reading through this thread, I really cannot stress the importance of using Noalox.

After vaping this thing for about 2 days straight, I noticed an incresed level of effort to press the button down and make a good connection with the battery. I struggled with it all day yesterday until I could make it home and apply the Noalox. Cleaned out the + terminal on the Grand w/some alchy and applied a thin layer of Noalox.

Without buffing it out, popped the battery back on and woah....back to vapin clouds! The effort to push the button down was almost non-existant and the atty was firing up 100%.

If you guys haven't done this yet, go out and get some Noalox and handle it. I'm glad that Rob will be supplying a little tube of it for future orders because the mod really needs it (as would any mod really).

On a side note, I recently tried some of the Cisco LR510's. They metered out at exactly 1.4ohm and wow do they hit. Better than the EM LR510's. Coupled with some 100%VG juice (ahem bobas), I was matching vapor / flavor with a 6v silver bullet. Actually I think mine tasted better!

Biggest dilema I have is do I use the Cisco LR510, or the Cisco LR306? Hmmm...

Thank you Fra211 for the reminder. I'm going to try and stay on a weekly Noalox application. If I do it every Thursday, I'll know it gets done. Right now I've had mine for almost 6 days and it's doing great. One thing I found out, I'm not a heavy vaper. I certainly thought I was, but a 6ml bottle lasts me almost 4 days. When I read that some go through 6ml in a day, well, that just blew me away. One person said they go through 18ml's a day, I can't even imagine that being possible.

Good news. My son is bugging me to try to get him one. (he's on the road all the time) Plus the wife is a little pouty and been kind of hinting. But then again, she says her eGo is "fine" with a sigh.

Yeah. What Laz said. Make sure they're protected. Here's the kind I use ...

Protected UltraFire 14500 AA sized 3.6V Li-Ion Rechargeable Battery 900 mAh CR14500 Lithium Ion

Ultrafire LC14500 Protected Rechargeable Lithium Battery

If you order from Clouds of Vapor, you might also consider getting one or two 14500 battery cases along with the batteries. Those cases not only can hold two 14500 batteries. They could also two 3mL juice bottles for your Mini (or one 14500 batt and one 3mL bottle). Here's the link for the battery cases:

Batt Case 2 Protected 14500

You can get the battery cases cheaper on eBay, but you might save on shipping if you get both the batts and the cases from CoV.

:)

Hey Sharon - It does not come with a battery. It takes a protected 14500.

Used where on the mod?

I'm used to using Noalox on the threads of a Silver Bullet and Precious, but I can't see anywhere obvious to use it on my wood Reo.

Put some on the positive connection and the negative.I have never done it myself but some veterans I respect claim very good results
