I just received my Wood Reo, and Reo Grand this morning, and what excellent devices. The Wood Reo is a wonderful device I have been vaping all morning with my Iken LR mini 801 what a great pairing loads of vapor and beautiful to look at. The Reo Grand is a tank I can see it will be the go anywhere under any condition mod the sport utility model. Thanks Rob, you have made my vaping life easier.

Mini Mods sold out for today.I will have more up on the site Monday through Friday.I will have them on a steady basis from now until xmas.If you don't get one dont worry there will be more daily.I am not setting time of day to avoid the bottle neck of people sorry but I cant have the site crashing.Grands are going to the polishing shop Monday looks like less then two weeks for another release.I will have a new and improved wood reo after Xmas

Perhaps there is more likelihood of the site crashing from all those that leave your site up all day and simply refresh every 5 minutes? I'm just presenting a perspective. The thought is nice, though, Rob.

Once I no for a fact my site wont over sell mods I will give a time of day until then I cant handle the mods going over by 50 or so.It was a nightmare I don't want to relive

No, Rob, you don't want to relive that and we don't want to see you go through that again. The way you're doing this, this time, may work well for you, I hope so. If not, it's trial and error and you'll find what works for you.

Many have said, and I agree, we don't want you to burn out because if you do, where will we be? Answer: without REO's. God forbid!!!

Good news and bad. My fibromyalgia was bothering my hands badly today. So I got a chance to see how the smooth and polished mini felt compared to the much more squared off grand. Bad news is that its still uncomfortable. Good news is that its way better than the grand. Between the extra weight and the harder edges the grand truly hurts to use. In comparison the mini is uncomfortable. I looked at the mini. If you look at it from the front it is not box-y but more like the letter U since the edges on the bottom are rounded. But the bottom corners still bother me. I looked more. If you look at it from the side it does not look like a U since the bottom edges are not rounded. Tomorrow if my hands feel better I'm going to dremel the front and back bottom edges to make them rounded like the sides are now then wait til my hands bother me again and see how it feels with more rounding.

Regardless, I do appreciate the chance to get a polished mini to see if it was better for me on bad days and it is. Enough typing for today, just wanted to provide quick feedback.

Just thought I'd add a follow-up. Yesterday I pulled out the dremel and went crazy ;)

About an hour later since after grinding I used hand sticks to smooth the grinding and then the dremel polishing disc to get a decent finish (not as good as the original but at least smooth to the touch) I ground the bottom front and back edges to be rounded like the bottom sides edges. Made the corners on the bottom much softer to the touch since they were truly rounded off now. And today tuned out to be a rather painful fibromyalgia day so I could see how things felt right away. Made a huge difference.

I did order some of the sugru silicon stuff since it seems like it'd be helpful for other things too so I may put that to use on my original Grand. I don't want to pull out the dremel on that since it has an anodized finish.

So now all I need to do is figure out how to get a specially polished and anodized Grand and mini in the colors I want. Wonder how much special requests cost? ;)

Rob. You are ........wait......................just to awesome. You just don't quit going above beyond. That said, softer corners might be a good evolution idea for the Mini and Grand in the future.

I'll try to describe the way I reshaped my mini. I'll use pics of my Grand as a before to help explain what I've done.

Note that if you look at the REO from the front, the corners look rounded. This is because the side edges have been rounded:

Note that if you look at the REO from the side, the corners look square. This is because the front and back edges have not been rounded:

bsoplinger-albums-modified-reo-grand-picture25121-grand-side.jpg

The means the corners are sort of rounded or perhaps I should say half rounded. That is because the rounded side edge meets with the non-rounded front/back edge. So the 4 bottom corners aren't as smooth as possible.

I decided to round the front and back edges on the bottom of my mini. So now if you look at the mini from either the front or side the corners will be rounded:

This means each of the 4 bottom corners are much more rounded now because the rounded side joins with the rounded front/back. This is what dug into my fingers or palm depending on how I held the REO. It makes a huge difference to me when my hands are sore. This extra roundness does make my mini feel softer to me.

Just wanted to add that the Woody Reo has been the solution for me. For those of us with hand issues a slight difference can make a huge difference. I was thinking the bigger size of the Woody might be a problem but I think it actually makes it easier on my hands as the bottom extends below my palm.

And I think Rob is looking at doing more rounding of the upcoming Woody edges too. Not that I think it needs any improvement but they would be pretty.

Alice
