Touché man. I haven't had a Chinese chip fail me yet. I see no problems buying the clone. Looks like a winner. :)

I missed this one earlier. C'mon, man - seriously? NEVER?

Clearly you skipped the iSticks, and would you mind picking six numbers for my lottery, because YOU are the luckiest man in the world.

I am retired and on a fixed income so I definitely cannot afford to buy a mod for that amt of money. I agree with all your statements above about the purchase of clones. I have been watching this thread (in envy) for a while now and just could not resist.

Understood and fully supportive.

I am pretty sure the chip will be a clone of the dna. For me thats a plus. I have read too many horror stories on the dna and a couple of fanboys of the dna have turned me off from the dna chip

Combined with dna chipset, price, long shipping time it's hard for me to pull trigger and I love the form factor

Fair points, both, and yes - I've heard all the stories too. I explained why I wanted it, and remain thrilled about the prospect of its arrival.

Given you very clear positions though (dead-set against), I'm just wondering what caused you to pop into a thread titled, "Xvo Users?"

I have a bunch of stuff I don't like too. I've yet to ever wander into any of the threads concerning those things though. They don't interest me.

And I must make one correction to one of my earlier statements. A previous pic I had seen included Chels' logo, and I made reference to that in a derogatory way. I see now that 3F has removed it, and their version clearly states "3FVAPE.COM", which I'm fine with.

It's still an imitation, but not a clone (IMO).

And yes, I might even get one myself (to compare the differences).

Both my boys have iStick 50's. I also have the iStick 100 which I cloud chase with. No problems with them at all. I also have the first run Sigelei 100, still going strong. Last but not least, the SX mini Type M class. Which is a wonderful piece. :) 6 2 27 38 18 and 42 :D

Sweet! Thanks JD. I'll tell you what, if I win, I will make sure that everyone knows that YOU picked my numbers. And yes, I'll be playing them from now on.

I'm glad YOUR iSticks worked out for you. A good investment, for sure (again, a lottery winner). And for me, the SX Minis just didn't do the trick (bought and sold three of them). But they're nice - definitely.

Good luck with those numbers man. I have never hit one number. I may have played the lottery 3 times in my life. I always believed hard work, and a loving family are the biggest winnings of all ;) As for the SX mini. I don't do temp control. I taste the nickel along with the vapor not being warm enough. I'm enjoying the different settings in power mode. Pretty neat little mod Yihi designed. Take care man :)

Thank you! And I wasn't kidding about playing them. I'm replacing my current selection (comprised from a database I've been keeping since 29-Mar-2002) with yours.

I really loved the design of the Mini, and actually had two of mine powder coated and custom painted. Two good ECF members own those two now, and the 2nd one was VERY hard to give up. I hand-picked the color and LOVED the way it looks. It's in EXCELLENT hands now - much better than my own.

I had my sights on the Xvo from the moment I first saw it, and decided to let the Mini go towards helping fund it. I wasn't going to release it to just anyone though, and am thrilled that it landed where it did. I happen to like the new owner a lot.

Here's to differences in taste. :toast:

May we be so lucky to forever have them. Time and Uncle Sam will soon tell all.

You take care too, Jimi D.

Just received a mail that the Xvo stick received a new firmware update and the Merkava got a design tweak to make it easier to set up.....hehe now I am anxious to know if I'll get the newer versions of each or the older  :)

Guess I'll just ask them :)

Me too. Along with two Xvo's in the mail. :D

No time to play with them yet, but did see the video inside the email?

I'll try to snap one tonight for you. It's a perfect fit. Just a bit of the top cap and drip tip stick up. Not QUITE a Billet Box, but dang close.

Kat's is already boxed and heading her way, so she should have it on Thursday, and I'll play around with mine later tonight. Damn jobs... ;)
