Looks like I didn't have to wait for Monday to freeze my ... off after all. I got off work this morning and drove home in -6 degrees! Ain't life grand?!

Of course, snow is much prettier when you don't have to drive in it. :?:

Good morning! Erised, good luck on catching up. You have to be a speed reader if you miss a day!

Just finished cooking breakfast, here it is almost lunch time, I'm getting spoiled with all this sleeping late. Monday is coming, time to pay the reaper!

Have a great day y'all, gotta go run another errand or two. See you later. . .

They are my stress hairs.

Finally got a hold of childs dr office. His dr is in the hospital from dehydration and flu, they offered a refferal but not sure if my childhood dr can take him. My childhood dr has experience with children with heart disease. Cough isn't bad today. I can't watch tv. He is watching curious George. Im about to youtube french or Russian episodes for a change.

Well, at least it's more money.

Just a thread I'm watching, I'm not too sure it's true other than there seems to be multiple reports of online sales being declined due to a 'change in the PACT act'. I'm concerned because I live in one of those states.

NOTE: If you live in Arizona, Georgia, Iowa, Maryland, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Vermont, Washington or Wisconsin, we are unfortunately not allowed to sell tobacco to you. Its forbidden with online sales of tobacco in these states.

The excuse is that vaping has been declared a tobacco product. The original purchase was for empty bottles.

That's ridiculous! I don't understand how they can classify vaping products, and especially supplies, as tobacco products. I would hate the thought of having to make all my purchases in person. Not only are most things not available in vape shops, but the cost is prohibitive as well.

It seems to be only those states that you mentioned plus MASS and Kentucky, I wish they would try something from China from those states, I'd like to know if that will be stopped as well.

I can't get VG based eliquids locally. What about nic? This is one of those regulations that keeps getting thrown out there and includes anything vaping related (from a vape shop I assume) such as all mods or plastic bottles. There's a message further on down that the problem may be with one of the major credit card suppliers (ELAN) who is coding vape shops with tobacco. ATF announced they were going to pursue stricter compliance with PACT back in July. They shuttered most online tobacco sellers for violations and fined a number of compainies for selling "dual purpose" tobacco.

But it doesn't need to be illegal to shut down payment processing. That's been done to a number of politically incorrect industries.

I'm not sure ELAN (or whoever) has another code for vape shops.

What do they do if you go to 40 hours when people call off?

If you work over 40 hours in a week you get paid time and a half for it. I'm just glad it's a midnight shift...there's not much to do when everyone is sleeping...just some cleaning and bed checks so it's not bad.

If it is a problem for anybody in any state we will all work together, most of us have Paypal, we can transfer funds buy for those effected and mail it and problem fixed temporarily. I will do it.

I don't think it is a problem using prepaid CC's not sure.

That sounds like a good work-around for people affected by this...at least until all of us are affected, if that's the case. :(
