Yes, that is my gas and electric combined. My condo isn't very big and it's brick, so that helps. I live in an end unit that's only connected to another on one side, so it gets colder than the inner units. We have a basement and an upstairs, but they don't get much heat. Even the upstairs is cold.
This shift will make 52 hours for me this week. From what I understand only unionized workers have a limit on how many hours they can work in 24 hours. We can be forced to work 24 hours straight if need be. That hasn't happened to me, but a couple of girls here have worked triple shifts voluntarily. Not me!
Check the Federal Labor Laws. There are laws regarding consecutive hours and days worked, I believe. Every employer is supposed to have a poster/notice up in the workplace about it. One is on minimum wage I believe and the other is about working hours. Don't remember, been a while since I have seen one. Nothing to do with Unions. Federal and/or State Laws. Just like pilots can only work so many hours, etc.
