Hi Lori, HUGS!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank You!
Yay for sheetrock! Glad to hear the mold is gone. I read up a little on all you horror going on, how are you holding up? Are things any better with DH?
Hey Jessermay. How are you? Congratulations on the paperwork from ex. Kudos to your son for him letting his dad know how important this is to him. It needed to be done by son. Glad he stood up for himself. How exciting for you all.
DH has calmed down. Still waiting on estimate from ins and contractor. What is actually going to be done; repair/replace island and hardwood, is still up in the air. No shopping yet. DH puts on his ugly face when I ask any questions about anything. But more liveable in general. DH told all to not come to house today. HE needed a break. lol
Still no cake in this house.
and.. i think im off to put the baby gate up in the bedroom and crash for a few hours. child is currently sleeping (has been really sleepy last few days, making me wonder if he is getting sick or not. i hope not. quite a few kids around here are being holspitalized for RSV. one of the kids has medical issues similar to my sons so i worry for that family, the other one had the youngest (3) in the hospital and he doesnt want to stay in his bed, he wants to walk the halls and explore but gets so tired he falls asleep walking to the end of the hallway.. its cute but worrisom he gets so tired so fast). im keeping a close eye on child. need to leave phone in front room so i dont read my book rather than sleep that i need. and so child doesnt change my ringtone on me again. he changed my ringtone to zebras barking (zebras bark like a yappy dog..), i dont have that sound on my phone anywhere, so im afraid of where my 3 year old son found the sound file to use, and how he set it as my ringtone. and he uninstalled my favorite games, and downloaded about 40 curious george books/videos filling up my memory cards. grr. im starting to think i need to build his own computer sooner than i originally thought.. and my formatting isnt working, not sure why.

Ok, who stole all my friends?
I'm here. I've been busy sleeping when I'm not at work, and playing my FB games. Tonight I had to take the Boy to two different counseling sessions. I should be doing laundry or cleaning something right now, but it will be there when I get to it, later or tomorrow or never. I keep getting my juices mixed up and putting the wrong flavor in the tank when I go to top it off. I've done this two or three times in the last week or so. The combination isn't bad but it isn't good either. I make myself vape it to punish myself for being so stupid.
Good evening, all! I've just gotten off work a little while ago, and I'm now caught up on the thread.
Marla, it's really tough being stuck in the sandwich situation that you're in--taking care of mom and son at the same time. Try to stay strong, and don't forget to take care of you, too.
Shari, I'm glad the repairs have started at your house. It might be best to stay out of the way, and let the menfolk do all the work. Hopefully you and Kitty are able to make the best of things.
Karen, I'm really glad you're starting to get better. Take good care of yourself, OK?
As for me, I'm trying hard to behave myself. I'm still smoking, but I haven't gone back to strong cigarettes--sticking with the ultra-lights, and breathing better without the need of medication. I've lost 23 lbs. since the 1st of December (got a jump-start on my New Year's resolutions) by getting back on a traditional low-carb diabetic regimen. I'm behaving myself so far, but I have terrible cravings for pancakes (can't find a good low-carb recipe for those yet), and Irish cream. No, not the flavoured creamer one can buy, but the good old-fashioned alcoholic Bailey's. I can't seem to find any information on alcohol and low-carb diet (or diabetes), so I'm not sure if it's healthy to indulge. I'll have to keep looking for info, I guess.
Sorry for my novel. Have a good evening, everyone![]()
